The EA888 Evo4 is such a beast motor. APR stage 1 with no mods and E85 will make 375HP. Slap on intake intercooler and TCU tune and this thing will push almost 480 on a stock motor. Insane!

Had my s3 for a little over a year. Stage 2 FBO E85 i recommend before you start start launching the car. get your dogbone inserts in. not sure if the 8Y's have them yet. These cars get a ton of wheel hop. and do the intercooler as it does heat soak a bit but is still very consistent. Aye congrats man! You gonna love it here

The GTI will be missed! Have a great journey with this one, I’ll be waiting for you to convince me to buy it lol thinking about getting rid of my 16 Vortex XL FBO MPI gti too but it’s too fun. Would love to hear your thoughts on if the S3 delivers the same level of fun down the road all modded up.
Whew, for a second their I was thinking you went to the dark side (Honda). Awesome choice! This would probably be my next car. I think the power and fuel economy is perfect. Awesome choice and I suggest breaking in in proper like the manual says.
I’m Vw tech the oil pump will be in a higher pressure mode for the first 720 miles recommend oil change after that even tho vw says u don’t have too

Love the s3! Was scared the GTI was gone for a sec. Makes sense that you got the s3 over the R because then you would have 2 golfs rather than the variety 😂 Nothing wrong with 2 golfs by no means but s3 gives you that lil change if you crave it. Even if it’s just a sedan golf R

I had one after my mk7.5 got totaled. It was EQT tuned. Borla exhaust which sounded phenomenal. Mine was a 2021 final edition all blacked out. Loved the car BUT I was uncomfortable with my right leg always leaning on the center console. The seats were super comfortable but the area where my legs went felt more narrow than my GTI. Not sure if they addressed this with the refresh as yours is the full redesign. Sweet ride though. Stock exhaust was too quiet for me.
You could go for the nardo grey color in this one. Its dope.
