Where to begin with HOW DISRESPECTFUL this entire performance was, and not to mention how terrible it was. If you’re going to perform something to do with Polynesian culture, at least have some culture in it. There’s not one bit of culture or authenticity in this besides the name Moana. To do contemporary dancing with a little bit of a mock to Polynesian dance is so disrespectful to the culture and just downright embarrassing, yall may be good dancers, actors & singers but this is NOT the musical for you to make a joke out of, this ain’t high school musical 1, 2 or 3 darlings, this is a musical of culture, the story of POLYNESIAN CULTURE, how embarrassing, do some research and put some culture into it or stop performing this every single year and making a mock out of my Polynesian people! 🤦🏾♀️🙄
