- Cabbage and potatoes taste better than meat. Rumbledethumps is a traditional Scottish dish akin to the English bubble and squeak or the Irish colcannon. One of the things I LOVE is that you can hear everything so well. For instance, slicing the vegetables, how crisp the cabbage was when you put it in the bowl, even pouring water over it and then tamping it down.... OMG!!! Hola. Me gustan mucho sus recetas, su estilo de cocinar es original; como dispensa la sal, como se come los trozos de verdura que no termina de rallar, que ande sin zapatos (en ocasiones).
Pero nunca se le escucha y casi nunca se le ve la cara, ni siquiera cuando prueba las comidas.
