I don't get it. So the new springs just lunches out the hatch when you unlock the trunk. You have no wiring or safety control about the movement. And of course, no closing from the remote either. Why won't we choose the factory option, with a button on the side of the trunk.. just saying.

You mean from the drivers seat?Or if your kidnapped and locked in the hatch?There is the latch next to the latch that opens the fuel door?
