Currently doing this swap, but with a 300zx! At the moment I'm putting everything back together & getting ready to re install
That’s awesome man! We got a lot of help from guys doing the swap into a 300 on forums and other channels. That’s gunna be a very nice upgrade from the VG30 lol. Definitely be interested in seeing how it turns out. Anywhere we can follow the build??

Following this, swapping a vk45de into a 56 GMC Pickup
Bro I'm subed,just picked up my main components for the swap for 2k with an extra vh, I just need fuel pump,brakebooster,and more little miscellaneous
Oh sick man! What components did you go with? Not a bad deal at all.
If you have the money or are comfortable with making your own brake lines, I’d definitely recommend going with a gktech (or similar) brake booster delete - just for that extra clearance. Michael has been running one on the coupe for a couple years and he loves it. You just need the adapter plate, a 3/4” wilwood Master, a proportioning valve and the fittings and lines to go along with it.
If you run into any issues let us know and we will see what we can do to help. Overall this swap is fairly easy just a bit time consuming. Hardest part so far has been installing the headers in the car - which we will be posting a video on this weekend hopefully.
Thrashed Chassis z32 trans mazwork headers , driveline,adapter plate and xcessive ps bracket ,alt bracket and there shifter relocation, to top it off it came with wiring specialties harness. Thank you, I will. Keep up the good work I believe in both of you to make this a really good channel.
Oh nice man! We wanted to go with the mazworx trans adapter but we didn’t want to wait/deal with shipping the bellhousing out for machining. Anywhere we can follow your build? CZcams, instagram, etc?

Too bad no one makes these headers anymore. I guess I came too late to the party lol

Andre, which automatic transmission fits under your car. How much tunnel modification were required ? PDF
How did the tranny hold up?? I’ve been researching online and everyone I saw who swapped a 350z tranny on the VH45 and the VK56, both of them the trannys failed? Is there any other options other than the 350z manual trans ?
How close would this be to do on a Z32?

I've got a VH41DE going in my VN commodore and have issues getting any info on engine mounts etc. I have complete setup. Engine trans etc computer ECU
Why is the variable valve timing so important and how is it related to the chassis that I’m putting in a S14?

What angle kit and sway bar setup are you guys planning on running?
It’s been on 2.5” extended lowers (Godspeed adjustables I’m pretty sure) and there is a local guy who does modified knuckles. He also doesn’t use a front sway bar. Michael has been running that for a few years.
Does the trans crossmember need a mount???
Yes. It’s designed for the stock mount, z32 or s-Chassis, both will work. We used a circuit sport solid mount and it required some trimming of the mount to sit flat and we had to drill some additional holes in the cross member to install it, but it’s definitely doable.

We used Xcessive brackets. It's a solid mount to the chassis. Were you looking for something else?
