- Hello everyone and how do you do?
A couple of weeks ago, my friend Sam paid a visit to the Cathay Pacific flight training centre. He had the opportunity to have a go at Landing the Boeing 748-8 flight simulator device with me. This was how it went on that fun afternoon. He performed pretty well for a first timer on the B747. Take a watch and again- hope you like it. Chi Di Gin! Later✈️✈️✈️✈️

It's actually much easier than people would think to land an aircraft (in perfect weather conditions). However everything has been set up in readiness for the landing, it's the pilot workload dealing with the ATC, configuring aircraft for descent and approach, going through the checklists, fatigue after a long flight, environmental conditions such as weather etc. that is not represented here.

Ive landed on 07R many a time in the 748F Virtually 🤣in MSFS 2020. 3 most visited airports are Narita, Anchorage, Hong Kong. Once you disengage the Autopilot then its all about adjusting for the wind although I tend to disengage last min so as to not waste hrs sitting in front of the PC🤣
Via Limes Transition & the Auto Flare on the 748 helps.
Got the 4 hr video you were in Capt (beginning of July) when it was discounted . Lots of great information in there as well as views.

Sam is one of the best content makers out there, i first knew about him around 2007 when he used to do aerial shots at KLAX, and he was and is still so good that i used to dedicate time just to view and follow his photography, bear in mind this was before social media but i had a folder dedicated to his work. Now, Sam the pilot, he's got two left feet😂😂😂 but bless him, his work positively impacts and inspire millions

It’s a level D simulator. It’s so accurate the hours can be logged as real flying hours in your logbook. Well done!

Why did he get the complimentary meat pie?😅 Next give him the Kai Tak IGS 13 heart attack approach. He used to enjoy watching planes do the chequerboard swing approach growing up in Hong Kong. Happy Sam Chui..a true Aviation chum!
