As they say, "Desperate times call for desperate measures!" Being resourceful with whatever we have comes in handy for us,Filipinos...we may not have much but we definitely find ways and means to survive...❤
I find this a rational use of the roof as an additional space that can be used by the collective of residents of the house, and the Filipinos do it. Our houses are built in a different way without taking into account the possibility of using the roof space at their own discretion. I think many also do not want the roof covering to be damaged and water to flood into the apartments during the rain. But I would like our houses to be built taking into account the possible use of the roof space for different needs, as some do there
