In a way, i'm quite exited to see this Liverpool side without Salah for a month. The other attackers need to gain confidence, because we can't just rely on Salah for the rest of the season. Will be a much needed and season defining test. For a title we need at least two more solid attackers up front, who are able to score.

i still think endo was signed as a milner/henderson replacement, u need that experience at times and i think we signed him as someone to bring on and see the game out. I think we thought we’d make it til january or next summer where we’d sign a starting dm but endo has been better than we expected, if we thought he was better he would’ve started more games straight away but instead he’s had to force his way in with maccas injury actually looking like a blessing now

I started supporting Liverpool from 2018 when they lost the UCL final. I don't know what made me watch that match and everybody around me was supporting Madrid. I watched that match as a neutral football lover but when it ended I was like Liverpool deserved more and since then I have watched almost all the matches of this team. i mean i could see it happening but i wasn’t sure if that makes sense, our defence is still the same as the 21/22 season where they were one of the best defences in europe, the attack still has salah, diaz and jota who are all capable of doing it at the top level as shown in previous seasons then gakpo/nunez who are extras but still contribute a load, then there’s the best keeper in the world. The only question mark was the midfield and signing 4 new ones on top of curtis and trent contributing to it i thought there was a world in which it would work well enough for us to challenge for everything

I am a Liverpool fan
Jurgen Klopp has built Liverpool’s next great team and Liverpool 2.0 has been fun. He’s done a phenomenal job at Liverpool because since he took over as their manager in 2015, they have won literally everything as they have a premier league champions league title, at one point they were 2 games away from winning a quadruple and he did all of this while being on a very tight budget. In the last 6 seasons, Manchester City have dominated the premier league winning 5 titles during this period and the only team that was giving them a run for their money was Liverpool. Sure they may have managed to win just 1 league title, in 2019 and 2022, in the premier league even if they narrowly lost the title by a point, they had a chance of winning the league on the last day of the season on 2 different occasions and in 2020 they won the league and they’re the only reason why Manchester City don’t have 6 league titles in 6 years. He’s also been to 3 champions league finals as a Liverpool manager and won one in 2019, and unfortunately he lost 2 finals in 2018 and 2022 against Real Madrid and if not for Manchester City’s premier league dominance and Real Madrid in those champions league finals, if they had won those the likes of Jurgen Klopp Mohamed Salah Virgil Van Dijk and Sadio Mane would all be viewed very differently but the margins are just so small anyways he’s been a 9/10 so far. After last season where they failed to make the top 4 and were out of every cup competition, it felt like Liverpool’s time at the top was up and were in need of a summer rebuild.
Many people expected their rebuild to fully click after 2 seasons, this season however they’re top of the premier league, they have the FA Cup to play for, favorites to win the Europa League and are in the semifinals of the Carabao Cup. This is a stark contrast from last season and they rebuilt their midfield, have gotten players back in top form, and their mentality is so unbelievable because how many times have they won games under difficult circumstances as they never give up especially after falling behind and this is the attitude of a successful team right there and I give them a 70% chance of winning the premier league. Everyone expects Manchester City to end up winning yet another league title, but man Liverpool are a team we cannot sleep on and they’re actually making this season interesting because for the premier league it’s important to see another team competing with City for the title not just watching them dominate every year with no competition. Liverpool 2.0 has been so interesting and what makes his rebuild fun is that they can be outplayed play so badly for certain periods of a game and they’ll still win and if we’ve learned anything from Liverpool this season even if the opposing team is 1-0 up against them, the game isn’t over. The reason why Liverpool have had so much success under Jurgen Klopp and why they’re back to their best this season and could potentially win at least 2-3 trophies has been player development skills, the mentality of the players, the hunger and attitude and making smart pieces of transfer business, getting the right players and on an odd occasion they can pay so much money for a player, but spend very wisely. Liverpool’s success and their current rebuild working out according to plan, to me it makes a mockery out of a team like Manchester United because since Sir Alex Ferguson retired, they have spent hundreds and millions of dollars on players and have had little to no success and their managerial merry go round has been fun as they constantly change managers and it hasn’t changed the state of their football club. It’s the same thing at Chelsea, as they were a better team before they went on this 1 billion dollar spending spree as their current situation right now isn’t looking good and they’ve spent so much in the last 12 months. Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp are a prime example on how spending money is important and it can buy you success if you do it the right way and he is building his next great team.

This is the state of us LFC fans, we keep getting hopeful when we know very well that we wont end up #1 because our owners beleive in playing with the bare minimum and gettign maximum output out of the thin squad - its a miracle we end up in top 3 year after year only and only because of Klopp. Let me quash the hopes here as I have accepted the fate - no we wont win the league, no we wont sign players to have a solid bench, yes we will let another year with a generational manager go to waste, yes FSG will make record profits.
