As a Dortmund fan, maybe not 1% chance, but somewhere around 20% would be fair and realistic. Regardless of that, I trust our boys will give everything for Reus and for the fans against the massive favorites. And if there's one position on the pitch where we have a slight advantage, that the goalkeeper. Kobel is massively underrated, arguably the best GK of this season's UCL, and totally capable of producing a miracle performance on Wembley.

If #BVB is hoping to win the #UCL final it must come up with a clear game plan. It might be interesting to discuss such plan. They must keep Real Madrid busy from the flanks with Adeyemi and Sancho. That would prevent Valverde from coming from the back. Kroos must be neutralized by pressing him. Vini Jr. is a formidable player but tends to dive a lot and it is relatively easy to get under his skin. Perhaps a little pressure might work. Real Madrid is lethal with space on the pitch. Dortmund works great defense and gives little spaces. If #BVB can play as it did against Bayer Munich in the Bundesliga or as with Atlético de Madrid in the quarterfinals of the #UCL it might pull this off! What do you think?
I think we should expand upon this level of theorizing:
Real Madrid would still have Joselu that they bring on and also Dortmund would have to score first or its lights out. Joselu has been massive in Real Madridâs victories already and has managed to score at the moment he is needed. So you would have to plan to shut down Joselu if he is brought as a super sub. Another problem is how is Dortmund going to score against Real, if the wings are busy with Jude and Valverde then that leaves only FĂŒllkrug who can score unless Reus is able to give him service. RĂŒdiger may just pocket FĂŒllkrug and also Tchouameni is left in the perfect position to score. BVB will need to have a well thought out plan to ensure that none of Realâs players are able to take advantage of Dortmund being distracted marked the other players while also getting service to their attack to where they donât heavily risk a counterattack from Real if they lose their aerial duels.

I am gonna to predict Real Madrid 1-0 Dortmund with Joselu scoring the winning goal. Think of it this way, the champions league final has ended in a 1-0 scoreline since 2020 and itâs usually not a superstar who scored the winning goal except with Vini ofc. I think Dortmund will put on a defensive master class but they wonât be able to score past Courtois or Lublin or whoever is in goal. They will nullify each like has what happened last year and it will be a single opportunity that leaves the opening for them to score. As much as I want Marco Reus to win, itâs not realistic to predict that it will happen, the odds are stacked against Dortmund and Real Madrid isnât looking to allow someone to break their unbeaten record in champions league finals since 1981.
