No Jardon, I don't think anyone can imagine ghasts.
Too bad the Ghasts are easier to kill than almost every hostile mob, in fact, they might be the easiest to kill. The only thing that redeems them is destroying portals and knocking players off bridges.

Think of “all of these except this one”
It's no use if you have an intentional misleading map like this one. the cave spider one is oblivious trying to mock you, the oblivious answer would be the spdier since OBLIVIOUS other three are humanoid mob, the map intentional want you think like this then give you a different answer.
In truth almost every map has this cheap trick, you just can't rely on any rule, just hoping you are luck that you think the same way as the map maker.

@@stoncc928 Yeah after 8 years I might have done that once or twice :P they're cute to have around. I'd even bring them up for a while in beta when nametags weren't around. I'd bring them around and have them bounce in people's houses like I'm showing off a new dog.
This game feels very much like: "All good answers. But which one am I thinking of?"
Most maps of this nature are poorly designed because the concept is so easy to do. It's pretty rare to find a map like this with well-designed levels.
There has to be hints so you get an idea what to pick from the 100s if not thousands of possible answers

Whenever you play one of these maps you always bring up specific attributes that one thing has that are not shared by the other. This is a bad approach (for the most part since I'll grant that there were a few especially trolly ones where that sort of thing was the reason). You should instead be thinking about attributes that most of them do share which one of them does not (it is "What doesn't belong in this group of similarities" and not "What belongs in its own separate group that the others don't") since literally every different item can have something specific that will differentiate it from others.
Ex: "Spider is the only one that drops spider eyes" is a bad reason but "Spider is the only one that is not considered hostile during day" is a good reason.

The one with wheat, bamboo, sugar and kelp i thought it was wheat as it's the only one that A. Only takes a single block fully grown, and B. Is the only one it's a second item(seeds) to grow
That's what bothers me about all of these maps -- there are many different ways you can divide them, other than the ones the creator had set out. What is the point, even?
@@rex198 What would be awesome is if some creator thinks of all the separate answers, and makes them all correct. Map would be easier, sure, but at least it's fair.
@@rex198 That's because this concept is so easy to do that many people make maps using it, not just those who actually know how to design the questions well. Most maps of this nature are poorly done, resulting in selections of blocks, items and mobs that have several different similar properties. For instance, If you had a husk, skeleton, wither skeleton and cave spider in front of you, you could say the husk, skeleton and wither skeleton are all undead, but you could also say that the husk, wither skeleton and cave spider all inflict a status effect on the player.
It's rare to find a map with well-designed levels that avoid this problem.
Another example, with the actual mob level, is that the zombie, wither skeleton and skeleton are undead, while the zombie, skeleton and creeper all spawn in the same dimension, the wither skeleton being the only one that cannot spawn in the overworld. (Not the same as saying the wither skeleton is the only one that spawns in the nether, which isn't true.)

@@yuyoshida2076 Checked the wiki, Zombie Horse eggs are blue with green spots. It is indeed a Slime egg - all green. There are so many different eggs though it's impossible to remember each one

with the food one i was thinking it was going to relate to the harvest height while wheat can only be harvested at 1 level the other 3 can have individual parts harvested while leaving the plant still in the ground
That was my initial thought too, that Wheat grew in the only 1 block space out of the group.
When I saw the snowball, bucket, chorus fruit and sign, I'm just like "ITEM STACKING!"
I've never had enough signs at once to experience the 16 limit, didn't feel bad about missing that one at all.

@@FishlandicFishy You're thinking the wrong way. You should be trying to find similarities between 3 of the 4 items, revealing which one doesn't belong with the others. Unfortunately, as SharaShaymin rightly pointed out, this map is poorly designed with many questions having several right answers.

To the map creator: 6:42 is incorrect, sugar cane can be place underwater so therefor, it can "survive" underwater.
But what Jordan said was correct tho.

I was really convinced that the last one was the ender pearl because all the others had two states, the piston, extended and retracted, the vex, aggravated and passive, and the trapdoor, open and closed.

Jordan is still going about this like "this is the only one that does x" not "this is the only one that doesn't x". While the first line of logic is occasionally useful, being non-consumable isn't exactly a distinct trait, it's the norm. He should be trying to find ones that adhere to the norm state while the rest do not.

I don’t really like these maps because there is just too many variables. It’s nearly impossible to be always right for the right reasons.
Fair example at 6:30 I thought it would be wheat as wheat if the only one that can’t actually be placed, you need seeds to grow wheat

This is a really good map, but they really do need hints.
A player can't be expected to know what the creator is thinking. There is multiple 'correct' answers to every puzzle.
A hint will guide the answer to what direction the creator was thinking. The hind could be one word, like "Crafting", "Farmland", "Species", "Weakness", "Versions", "Names", ect.
Otherwise you can keep coming up with answers that can work as the right amswer, but insted you're competing with what the creator interprets as the one right answer out of a dozens, if not hundreds of possible ones. It's even more frustrating when answers are made to be super obscure, or trivial.
