    Thanks for the inspiring videos Stefan! I started my PPL this year and went solo today for the first time :) Whenever I'm feeling discouraged I always check out your videos and they help to pick me back up again! Great to see you back in the air again.
    Nice hair by the way ;) You're now beyond what I like to call the "mushroom phase", next stop: metalhead!

It's the windiest, most gusty, most undesired place to fly to 😂 Hopefully not much longer until you can fly north again 🤞 Keep the videos coming in the meantime though, I'm happy to kick in a few bucks for fuel, but you don't have an Applaud button 🤔

Lol I also need a PIC and I’ve got the chance to do it because of the pandemic :( I feel like the FAA regulations are some what similar to Australia, with few exception like using supplemental oxygen which you guys are above 10k. Love to learn more about Australia regulations for GA pilot. Does the airport charge you any landing fees? What are the operational cost, like fuel, hanger, insurance and etc. Would be nice if you can make a video out of it!

    • @StefanDrury
      @StefanDrury  Před 3 lety

      If you're doing an instrument approach for real, like in clouds, and you get to the minimum altitude and still can't see the runway, you're not allowed to continue to descend and have to fly the "missed approach" (usually a climb and sometimes a turn to a new waypoint). So I was practising that, pretending it was a bad weather day.
