I would be afraid I would catch the wide outsole with the other shoe when running when fatigued during long runs, or I’d catch it on rocks or roots. It looks interesting though. I do like the idea, but it may take some getting used to. Great job as always!

Thanks for posting, I hope you're back to 100% soon, and your lungs aren't too stressed from the hill at the end. I have never heard of KAILAS until this video. Thanks for your content, this channel is my go to, for gear review and race documentaries. I watched your waterproof jacket overview last week and decided on the Janji waterproof jacket (a 30000/30000 Hydrostatic rating jacket) (Runners need had a good deal on it!!). Have you ever ran in any of their gear? They do give some of their profits to water projects around the world.
That wider outsole puts me off, if you have large feet anyway (I'm UK 10.5) then you run the risk of catching your foot on narrow trails, that wider section would make it even worse, in my opinion, not a fan of the price either! Saucony and inov8 both do shoes that appear just as good and are a lot cheaper!
The bottom of the midsole is actually a but wider than the top Greg and It does pinch in quite narrow in the toe box 🤔 The upper fitted my foot shape really well but if you have a wide foot it really wouldn't work. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment it's appreciated 🙏

How does it compare with the Speedgoat 5? I've tried on and walked around in the previous 2 Kailas and they both felt stiff and hard not cushiony at all. I have boney narrow feet and ankles.

Very interesting shoe. That is a very wide midsole to not have enough room for your foot!
