    I really appreciate the specificity of this tutorial. I was testing star splatters with different paints and materials, and this video helped me hone in on what technique was best for what I wanted. Lots of other splatter tutorials out there are much more simple, so I appreciate the level of detail and the examples shown. Thank you!

    Very cool to see the different ways to do this! I was trying to teach my kids to splatter stars on a black canvas, and instead we got large blobs of white paint that had to be converted to planets haha! After seeing your video, I'm going to try some of your techniques this weekend! Thank you!!!!

    When I try to explain splatter to my seniors, they always seem to add tooooo much water. They watch me mix the water into the color and I show how cool the star affect is and they still add too much water..So they call the big dots planets. Go figure. You are wonderful and I so enjoy watching you, Angela and your mom doing tutorials. Keep up the good work! Hugs and love to you and yours.

      My seniors are 60 to 87 yrs young and pretty well set their own limits. Sometimes it is Outer Limits. haha

    The red brush with soft bodied paint makes nice stars for doing the milky way. Just what I was looking for!

    Thank you for your great tips! I have been a professional artist since 2006 but have never "needed" to splatter paint before and I had thought, "Oh, I've got this! I did this when I was a kid!" but when I tried to remember how to do it I almost ruined the painting :( I repainted the background and then went to CZcams for tips, of course, and you've video is by FAR the best I've found! Thanks for showing the difference in paints AND brushes, most others only show brushes. Many thanks for saving me precious time :)

    I tried the two brush method, only I used my fluffy blending brush to distribute the paint, just barely dipping the ends of the brush in the paint. It came out perfect!!

    Thank you so much!! Love the clarity in your tutorial, really easy to see from your demos! I'll fix a couple of waves paintings I have, using what you showed.
    I was sort of curious if you ever do them with canvas/board on the floor? I think for what I'm going to try I'll need bigger dots, so may be the better angle for me, and maybe will need a bigger brush?

      You can get bigger splatter even if a toothbrush or splatter brush. Just load more paint and be closer to the canvas. Just practice on a practice canvas till you get the effect you want 🌺

Made my northern lights tumblers really pop 😊 I'm making 3 of them right now, 2 for a buddy in Canada and another for a friend because she absolutely loved the one I showed her, she named her daughter Aurora, so kinda perfect lol.

    I used to always get great results and then one day I just started struggling so hard. I had no idea why it suddenly didn't work like it used to and it made me kinda sad but this video helped a lot and now I'm back to making great stars :)
