This Dyson had the strongest suction of any vacuum I ever used. You might not notice it, but I was actually pulling up some of the area rug due to how strong it was. By far, one of the best I've ever used.

It looks hard and clunky to push on carpet and as though the handle would hurt your hand? how are you finding it?

Not at all, slides easy on those small wheels.. plus it was a rug. I can't really speak on a thick carpet
