    Just replaced my old Dyson with a new one. Has 1 only dissatisfaction, with with the function: Where the vacuum cleaner rod is placed on the vacuum cleaner, it is too small and flimsy, and the rod falls off continuously after use. Engineers must be able to have this function corrected by the subsequent DYSON’s. Am I really the only one who has this problem ?? I'm asking ??

    Don't understand why they don't include a motor head for this thing. They could literally borrow a power head right off their own uprights like a dc40mk2 and it might actually work pretty well.

      However, lots of top brands are moving away from powered head; Miele for example. It stays on particularly on cordless sticks to compensate the fact that cordless sticks itself is deficient in suction power.

      Wi llo Why are companies avoiding powerheads for canisters? I’m so sick and tired of seeing that over and over again. I just don’t understand that about back in companies.

    Looking at this does not inspire confidence that the plastics and general structure of the vacuum will last over the long term. Dysons generally perform pretty good but their designs are too flimsy, but maybe my expectations are skewed as a long time Kirby owner.

      @@PerformanceReviews true, but you did say "This did exceptional well for a turbo tool". I have to agree. I am in the market for a vacuum and have spent hours on CZcams watching reviews. From your reviews I have decided to purchase a Henry cordless with a Wessel-Werk RD285 attachment since I only have hard floors, and my home is only 765sqft. I want a cordless vacuum that will pick up long pet hair, and bird seed. It looks like Henry cordless is powerful enough to do that. If you think it's not a good choice please let me know and I'll consider a corded canister vacuum. Right now I'm waiting for Henry cordless to come back in stock. Numatic told me they should be back in stock by the end of this month.

    Did the turbo brush bog down on the carpets? It sounded like it did when you cleaned up what appeared to be kitty litter on the wood floor. As for the turbo brush, would it be able to handle extremely plush carpets? We have thick plush carpets in the halls and bedrooms as well as a really thick and plush shag rug in the family room. Would wonder if it would be able to handle those carpets

      I will no longer support James Dyson I honestly have say that I think the man has just totally gone materialistic direction. I don't think he really cares about the quality of the products that he makes anymore and it really shows in the cheap pathetic plastic that they use and it also shows and his manufacturing of his items that he chooses to use countries that support child labor so as far as I'm concerned I don't care how futuristic it looks I don't care how many times he says it outperforms the standard Bissell or Hoover or dirt devil or eureka shark it don't matter. as far as I'm personally concerned I think James Dyson has just let greed overtake him and he doesn't really care like I said what he manufactures anymore or what he slaps his name on. .... I've had the new Dyson V10 the power had broke on it. Also had the v 11 and that power had broke. The plastic like I said is so thin and so cheap I wouldn't waste my money ever again on a Dyson

      The problem was doing a speed control on a cyclonic vacuum is the cyclones will not do their job at a lower speed. We see this is about my clear with older model us Dyson's versus older model UK Dyson's. If you want to speak control you'll have to buy a Miele 🙂

    The Dyson canisters are the only type of Dyson I actually like. If only Dyson would ever consider making bagged vacuum cleaners. I just don’t understand how people are OK with a huge plume of dust in their face every time they empty the canister.

    • @Kubulek17
      @Kubulek17 Před 4 lety +4

    • @Bekindtopeople
      @Bekindtopeople Před 3 lety

      @@Kubulek17 Because bagless vacuums do not keep dust from entering the motor housing, causing the vacuum to wear out quicker. Also it is not hygienic because they leak lots of fine dust in the air. Which is a little ironic if you think about the fact that Dyson also makes air purifiers. Also way back in the day when Dyson started making vacuum cleaners without bags was when bags where pricey. Nowadays they’re very Economical an advanced filtration. I wouldn’t throw my trash in the garbage bin without a bag so why would I do that for my vacuum cleaner.

    • @Kubulek17

    I heard the Cinetics aren't developed anymore or sold in the EU because they require high airflow velocity that the 700w motor limit just won't allow. If the EU had just minded there own business in regards to how loud and powerful a vacuum motor could be, Dyson could have improved their cinetic machines.

    • @PerformanceReviews
      @PerformanceReviews  Před 2 lety +1

      No they're not developed because it was a bad idea.

    • @SonicSouz
      @SonicSouz Před 2 lety

      @@PerformanceReviews I don't think that's the main reason. I have a 6 year old Cinetic and it works fine. The last Cinetic models were released in 2017 which lines up with when the EU forced 700W regulations on all the vacuum manufactures there.

    • @sprockkets
      @sprockkets Před rokem

      Maybe you can realize that by limiting motor wattage, everyone just made more efficient motors, like Numatic Henry. Spoiler alert, you don't actually need a 1000w motor to get good suction (Henry has 680w).
      Willing to bet you live in the US, which just ranked 50th in the list of countries where people are happy.

    • @SonicSouz
      @SonicSouz Před rokem

      @sprockkets I do live in the US but What's that have to do with my happiness? Dyson doesn't even make the motors for the uprights, they're panasonic motors. Dyson would have to redesign the way the airflow to be more direct with their uprights, however they either can't do so or are not willing to invest the resources for a full overhaul over the uprights like they did with the DC25 to the DC41.

    It's not like I wasn't warned. My Dad (a wise 87 year old) said "that's engineered in England, don't touch it. Go German". But no, I wouldn't listen and bought one of the most infuriating products ever "designed". Two big no nos.
    One, a huge amount of effort has to be put in to get the bottom flap to close after emptying. The plastic catch just won't let go off the teeth unless prized off.
    Two, suck up anything like a tissue and the tine aperture inside the cylinder gets blocked and you have to open it to clear it. I'm not talking a big tissue, I mean a piece 4 sq inch tissue will block the opening.
    Oh yeah, one of the external disc domes on the outside fell off on third use and just refuses to reattach. Now the vacuum strips paint off my door frames. I JUST HATE THIS THING!!!! IT WAS EXPENSIVE!!! Sorry Dad.
