    I find it amusing that folks can’t understand how much better a stalkless design is. For gawds sake it will take at most 5-10 minutes to get use to it and also memorize how to turn on/off the turn indicates without having to look at the buttons. In five years all cars will have lost their stalks. They are about as necessary as an appendix.

    • @WhichEV
      @WhichEV  Před 7 měsíci

      You're American, right? You don't have roundabouts much. In the UK, they're all the over the place and you have to hit the indicators with the wheel turned. This isn't so easy with buttons on the wheel as it is with stalks.

    The indicators are very easy to use and remember. I drove an M3 for the first time last week and was using this with no issues within 10 minutes and I have been driving cars and trucks for 40 years with stalks. People are over thinking this function and it becomes second nature very quickly.

      It just makes all that massive boot space harder to use. We are speaking here from the experience of taking kids to and from university in a Model 3. LOADS of space, but you can't always put things in it because the boot door is narrow. There's space in the back for a bike, but you can't get it in... actually just had a brainwave about that. ;)
