@@paullomas4620 That's more accurate.
Just so you know, Robert was changing from 5th to 4th, but he dropped it into 2nd. 👍😎
Misha the tour guide tells you everything but forgets to tell you when he drove right past Apex.
Note on the insurance, here in the UK some insurers specifically exclude the Nordschlife, check your policy documents! (I noticed this first on my wife's old Citroen Picasso, all 1.6 litres 8V and 90hp of it, not exactly a racecar :-) )
Same in Germany, most specifically exclude Touristenfahrten , you can even search the pdfs they provide with the policy's! Very handy.
@@MT-eb2dx Same in Sweden.
It’s always worth checking your car insurance as well. My policy has a specific paragraph in it that I’m not covered at the Nurburgring even though it’s considered a public road.
probably because they had one or two phone calls along the lines of, "oh yeah I crashed into a Ferrari at 130mph, but i'm covered right? :)" hahaha
12:15
i am insured with DEVK in germany but seems like the also not covered with TF...... makes me so confused....
@@Paynos literally haha. I don’t blame them
Does this surprise you😂
Not to complain about your off season content, Misha, but this is the stuff your subscribers signed up for. Great video. I think your channel cultivates a feel and appreciation for the laid back attitude of the real car enthusiasts community. If it were for appreciating and respecting each other, not trying too hard and having fun with the right mindset, there would be drastically less accidents.
can't wait to meet you all soon! this is so much fun! jealous!
same here 😉
@@thomasbryce1716 gotta find a way to live there a few months a year.. and every day on the track too! (ok, I can make any own pancakes but ill import the hooch. Care to join us?)
Thanks for doing this kind of video. I really like the fact that you think about the people who are not Nürburgring expert, I'm sure it will help a lot of people to enjoy their first Nürburgring laps.
This video is so good. I'm convincing more and more friends to come to the Nürburgring and your latest videos are perfect to show them first impressions and give them the right mood for this.
Misha, I hope to someday use all of your helpful tips to drive the Nurburgring. With you in car would be even better. Thanks for showing us the ropes
Very well explained! I hope I'll visit this epic track someday. Cheers from Brazil!
Being a new follower to the channel, that was the video I was looking for. Thanks.
Thanks always for the tips and tricks of Touristenfahrten. These complete lap videos help us get familiar with the track. 👍🏎
Excellent introduction of the track rules and how to be safe 😎👌🏾
Thanks for this, it's incredibly important to discuss safety and etiquette at the track.
Good video
Good comment
Good on ya🙂
Thanks for the tips Misha! Will actually be helpful when my car is finished, just heard that my dampers are still in backorder at Bilstein. Ordered other ones today and hope they will arrive asap so I can finish the car.
I quite like the brake pad squeal helps me learn the braking points 😂🏎💨 as ever Misha great content 👍
Thanks for the tips (also those on some of your 'first time driving' videos! I was there last weekend and it all went smoothly thanks to a good preparation.
Long time viewer here, and I learned something. Well done!!
I never knew that there was two different speeds you had to do between an illuminated yellow and a waving flag yellow. Thank you for the information, top-notch as always.
Afternoon Misha thanks for the information lap
My Mini has got fresh TÜV. The new set of tires are standing next to him. I'll be there this weekend or next.
Awesome stuff, thanks so much for the info in this. I've watched it twice and I'll watch it once more before I visit Germany.
Great vid as always Misha.👌🏻🤟🏻
Great intro to the Touristen Fahrten @Nürburgring! Thx
This was super informative for our planning to visit the Ring in a few years!
My kind of how-to video. Looking forward to seeing you on the track some day.
Great video Misha!
Very helpful video. Hope to get there in Sept and this is really useful info. I was last on track there in 1992 !
Great video again Misha!
Great Video Misha. Thank you.
ABSOLUTELY informative.. thank you man. Doing my homework to come there just to get on the track.
Офигенный гайд по Нордшляйфе! Жду не дождусь открытия границ (и кучи деняк для поездки)
Awsome video going for the first time this year, Very helpful 👍
I just was about to call you guys at the apex today and ask some Q and you just uppload this video !
GOOD Morning Misha..
5:55am NZtime
Its great waking up to new Vlog post..🙂
Informative & helpful video

I so ENVY all you dudes who are able to visit & drive th'Ring ..AND meet the the Apex team!
one of these days😉🙂😉
"ouch"..those squealing Brake pads bro ..😬😬
LOVE Ya Work bro💕
Godbless ava gr8 day🙂
So ready ❤🎉 thanks for thr video
Great video Misha .!! I’m really excited and feeling a lot more confident to visit this month.
I have learned alot on etiquette and behaviour on the track. The horror videos on CZcams with aggressive driving and bad behaviour don’t reflect at all from what I can see 😎😎
Thanks for this valuable information 👍
What's not to like?
Very nice and informative.
I wish I can drive on Nürburgring someday. After the pandemic ends.
Thanks for this guide Misha.
Did you get to do it?
8:30 you cant have a wing
9:20 e46 with a huge wing casually passing by
thats just about big enough till its not Huge xdd
That s just nano rearenged rust 🤣
Good video
I really enjoyed it like all of your videos 😄❤️
Thanks for the tips Misha. Hope to see you someday on the green hell.
Very informative, thanks!
Bucket list trip for me - hope to get there some day. Cheers from the U.S.
Cool to know the rules and tips! Thanks misha. Will you do a video about the track days? Do you do them often these days? Would be good for a ride along
brilliant vid misha 1 day i will be there👍😀
Can‘t wait until Devils Dines reopens again, it is just nice sitting there a watch all the cars coming off the track ......
You gotta love how Misha has to fight his racing instincts all the time to show the proper way or safe-driving around the ring 😂
Great informative video!
Thank you for 3:10 It's only aimed at a few but they can affect the fun of the many!
lol the brake pad sound kind of make your braking points more clear to us
Thought the same in his first video 😅
Can't wait to be back 😭
Thank you!
Cool video! I drove the X5 at 14:30
Great vids
Holy squeaky brakes, Batman!!! Other than that...very good vid, Misha.
Excellent vlog really enjoyed and learned from it, thank you. Out of interest how far away are you from doing a Tracktor update?
Great Advice and should be taken seriously, by everyone. :)
Cool video 👍🏻
Thanks for this Misha, really good tutorial. Would you say it's best to go early morning on the weekend or are weekday evenings okay?
I've got plenty of trackday experience, but intend to drive around slowly as this track seems very narrow. Do you think it's safe enough to do so when there are more cars on the circuit?
2021, the Year of The Yaris on the calender.
Quick, nimble, occasional tantrum, big fun :)
Hallo Misha nice lap nice vlog
Hello Misha ,nice video ,Paul from Greece, I want one day to come there and drive ...good job
You forgot the emergency areas, the orange zones
Good info 😊👍🏻
Yeah, for me spending some time in that car park at the track entrance, meeting and chatting to like minded people was one of the highlights from the visit to Nürburgring. Oh, and going to near by village to get a sweinesnitzel for dinner :) P.S. back in 2016...
Can't wait till I can leave Scotland and come over
Great video 👍
Are there any other ticket options, say a day, weekend, week, evenings only etc or is it just by single lap or season pass? Cheers, Owen.
Misha, about the pad noise. I used to have track pads that were too noisy and I was feed up with the sound. I bought some titanium brake pad shims (are supposed to help with heat barrier for boiling brake fluid) but a side advantage of the brake pad shim is that it acts as a damper o brake pad vibration AKA that annoying sound of brake pads. I would suggest to give it a try, for me it helped a lot.
great tip! 👍🙂👍
SuperBike pads have them for same reason
Great info Misha 👍 How about licencing for those of us coming from other continents, do we just show our country's licence or do we need a international licence to hire and drive a car ?
Maybe you should keep the brake pads. This way, the people at Devil's Diner will know when you're at Brünnchen and get your pancakes ready by the time you get off of the track. When they're eventually open again, of course.
Genius!
I hope one day I'll use this rules :)
Hi Misha, thanks for the great content. Stupid off topic question: how did/where did you mount the front facing cam? On the front window with a suction cup or on the dashboard? Thx!
You ll have to organise a formation lap with as many GR Yaris as you can gather up, there are so many around!
Thanks for the information, I never knew anyone can just get on the track like this. It's like a gym membership, very cool stuff.
Do they let you know when the track is closed to the public for professional races?
Many thanks for the video, really nice educating, hopefully one day I'll try real life nurburgring instead on assetto corsa.
Good info
Thank you misha v helpful! What if you're happily doing a decent speed into any left corner, or the carousel- but in a slower car- with faster traffic coming behind can you take the corner tight, or into the concrete or must you always go right side ?
4'45...have your TF card ready to show it !
Whats that noise when you turn the steering wheel? Thx for the guide! Very usefull!!
Toch weer leerzaam na vele jaren bezoeken. Tx! Medische mondkapjes zijn bij elk tankstation te koop neem ik aan?
That would be pretty funny to watch a guy trying to get his bus through the TF gate
I've seen it on CZcams somewhere. Somebody actually offered bus rides on the Nordschleife at some point!
Hey Misha , can you try to record a lap from the backseat with a longer lens sometime? Like the old Yellowbird record lap, It really shows how extrem the undulations are! (No image stabilization, cam fixed to the car)
Would like to see more information on insurances, especially possibilities to reduce the excess on rental cars.
Thanks for the video! One thing I would like to know: In case my car breaks down; where should I ask the ADAC / towing company to bring my car to? is there some kind of car park where you can leave it for one or two days until you can come with your own trailer to bring it home? Thanks!
I learned a lot, and found it interesting that you don't wear a helmet during TF due to HANS restriction. Question - what about instructor laps during TF? Will you wear a helmet then if the driver's car has airbags? Tnx
When is the compilation video coming of all the ‘goooodmorning comrades’ ? 😎😁
✌☺👌 good Video
Two thumbs-up! Why that helmet rule is not followed at all tracks is beyond me. US HPDEs all require a helmet, but not a Hans. Makes little sense.
I will be very specific with my question. Is the Simpson Hybrid S Hans system (the one that can also be used with regular seat belts) allowed? Can my passenger have a bucket seat with "ears"? I know I am repeating myself, but, please, humour me. Very informative, thank you.
Is this because I asked about seats with ears on the Facebook page 😂😂😂
Hoping I can get you in my car for an instruction lap this year as you were away when I came last year!
That BMW that passed you had a massive wing. So what do you consider massive?
In a next video, can you tell us which/who owns the Nurb, the benefits per year, and where is this money going ? yes i could make some researches but you're at the right place and you probably have some infos i wouldn't find. Thanks in advance mate
Миша, подскажи я хочу себе в сша заказать protrack one на пассат B7. У нас никто их не пробовал, какой размер под трэк взять 17×7.5 или 18×8?
И как они по ямкам после зимы не умрут?
Pancakes! Cannot forget Pancakes! Question is "What is Misha's favorite, plain, banana, blueberry, or something else?" Also syrup is the key. Maple, Coconut, or another flavor?
I will watch it. I need that info
6:40 I made this mistake 1 year ago on TT Assen. Was sooo exited that I send it on the first lap, broke my engine 1 lap later. Still can't get over that
The fact that Turistenfahren exists probably contributes to less reckless driving on German roads.
