Driving slow cars fast is a lot more fun than driving a fast car slowly

and thats the reason i just bought myself a 1998 Miata. what an amazing fun car.
Check out the Nürbugring Video of the Citroen AX Diesel that did 9.55 minutes with 55hp. Should find it quite easily just searching for "Citroen AX Diesel Nürburgring.
230hp diesel is really, really fast for such a light car !! Its faster than a N/A 2JZ GE Supra

I will emulate Misha's driving style on my own "tracktor" (it's actually a real tractor, a compact diesel,
28 HP!) next time I mow my property. I'll take all the turns flat out, although it's not set up for
heel-toe pedaling. :-)

Just throw in a 5.9L cummings with tripple turbo setup.
Thomas it wouldn’t touch what a well tuned 1.9 could do, the sheer weight of the 6bt would ruin the handling, if you look into dark side developments (the company who are going to help build the traktor) are doing they are winning leagues with 1.9 seat Ibiza’s

Maybe i should add, if you haven't watched Mishas Video about tf, that you are not allowed to visit the numerous spectator areas. I wasn't really sure myself so i sent an E-mail to the Nring. I'd advise everyone who doesn't want to do laps on the track to stay home.

This is a sign of hope in middle of all the madness going on right now...seeing this type of ”Driving Slow Cars Slow” is somehow more fun to watch than any supercar going bonkers fast. Speaking of hard mounts, I had a 2011 Polo TDI and the engine mounts transformed into hard mounts everytime the temperature hit ca. -30C...my teeth almost fell off and the car felt like it’s going to explode.
Sometimes the most fun can be had in slow cars. I did a 10:41 in our club1000 micra and loved it! Getting back in an E36 was like wow! 😂 Loving the Ringtraktor!

There is something so strangely satisfying watching a great driver in a slow car around there! You have to wonder what the folks in the red car caught up behind you (but unwilling or unable to ever complete the pass) were thinking!
She might not be the fastest, but keeping up the momentum is just as exciting! Great lap!

What a rollercoaster. You can push the slow cars to their full potential, thats the beauty of them. You clearly had an epic time behind the wheel. I am sure my car will struggle on the steep sections with the hp i am dealing with 😂😥
Its funny to see a stock power pd100 going around the ring. Funny thing is Ive just bought a pd100 myself and have similar plans as yourself and plan to drive to the ring from ireland once this is all subsided. Stay safe
