Although you should’ve given more info on the 2013-2015 model for people who’re looking forward to get a glk 350 as there’s so much difference in the 2013-2015 not just the facelift. The interior is completely different including the gear stick which is on the steering and also the 2013-2015 models comes with a direct fuel injection M276 engine while the previous models(The one on this video) comes with a Port injection m272 engine.

Good review as always Crank. I got a feedback one time from a tall person who complained that the front passenger seat space is tight even with the seat fully reclined. I can't confirm it because I have not been in one. Also, what is your opinion on other utilities e.g. the trunk. Do you think it is small? Perhaps smaller than a honda CRV?
The Trunk is definitely smaller than that of a CRV but that’s what you should expect because it’s more on the luxury side. About the seat being a bit tight…for tall people it is.

The fuel line issue is because the car is designed for fuel with 91 octane rating or higher but there is only one grade of petrol in nigeria. 87 octane grade

How about the Acura MDX? Popularity keeps growing
If you want to buy Acura MDX from 2008 upward , do your research but for me I will advise you to go and buy it before price goes up too much o, I drive Pilot and CR-V which I love how they drive and also their level of reliability. I'm buying my Acura MDX soon no turning back.

If you’re tall , go for the ml350 … the GLK is quite not comfortable for tall people… if you’re like 6.5ft , your legs won’t be free and nobody will be able to sit behind you
The GLK is easier to drive and handle but if you have a need for a lot of interior room...go for the ML350.

I have a 2014 c300, it’s a very reliable car but the engine isn’t as strong as the 2009 c300, but it’s a sweet car generally, the interior is the best thing ever

I own one so I can definitely guarantee that the GLK is better. Been using mine for the past 3 years now, bought mine almost the same time with few people I know that owns C300, they have all sold their own because of issues. But mine is still gallant and runs smoothly 💯

Interesting car documentary 234 but I disagree with one thing, there are 2 trims not one. There is the GLK 250 Bluetec turbo4 diesel and the GLK 350 V6

Would have liked, but saying GLK has 2008 model made me feel disappointed. Bcus glk started from 2010. There’s nothing like glk 2008.
Secondly steering pump is not up to 100k, even with the workmanship, transportation, oil etc you still won’t spend up to 100k.
Yea glk is rugged on off road, but not all. Only 2010 to 2012 can comfortably pass through water and sand with ease, but 2013 to 2015 will make u spend 650k in getting a new steering rack when you pass through water, 2013 to 2015 are not rugged as 2010 to 2012, u can’t even drive them in sandy areas
Thirdly there is nothing like glk 2020 pls

2010 to 2012 have the same features and horsepower but different from 2013 to 2015 which have higher horsepower and better designs

How do you know a car catalyst is not there or stolen? Like what's its work in a car
From the sound of the engine at cold start…it will be so loud without a catalyst. The work in the car is to regulate the exhaust gases and allow the car burn less fuel…it also silences the sound of the engine

Fan belt na solvable issue.. change your adjuster roller and check all the rollers easy fix

If you want to hate your life buy a GLC, you will be frustrated and end up selling it.
This are my reasons
1- It comes with a turbocharged 2.0 litre four cylinder (V4) engine that produces 241 horsepower. While the GLK350 (2010-2012) comes with a 3.5 litre V6 engine that produces 268 horsepower. So the GLK engine is stronger and faster.
2- the GLK is faster than the GLC
3- The GLK is more reliable than the GLC
4- Cost of maintenance on the GLC is crazy
5- Not a good off-roader like the GLK
6- Not good for long distance trip
7- It doesn’t go near water
8- GLC comes with lots of Electrical issues
Mercedes made a big mistake on this GLC. My friend owns one and he ended up selling it in less than 1 year. He even bought it directly from Dubai and you know Dubai cars are the best.
GLC is not a good car, it is only Luxurious than the GLK, apart from that nothing else.

The Glk is the only Mercedes that doesn’t come with an AMG variant,meaning Mercedes didn’t build it to be sporty

That will be difficult, the C300 servicing alone is close to 70k

@@234drive yes it did there is a tiny rubber in the steering rack area that when it enters water it breaks and make the steering extremely hard . I stay at majek in SAngotedo I never take my glk 2013 in water it’s risky . It have happened 3 times . To buy that rubber is 30k the 2013 glk is not for water .
But you enjoy the vehicle I want to purchase one, I’m afraid the cost of maintenance might be too high

@@234drive for me as a tall guy, ml has a better head room. as a family man it holds a larger cargo space, is better for off-road bcos of the 4 wheel system, and though they have to same drivetrain warranty, but the ML is a better multipurpose SUV.
