What an incredible compilation! It must've taken you ages to research, then find the routines, then add the graphics!
The video of Andreea Raducan in the 2001 team final: all of the Romanians performed perfect routines. That should count as one of the most epic rotations of all time.
YT only allows me to give you one "like" but I'm awarding you five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Sorry! I had to reupload because I missed Andreea Raducan, she was right between the timeline cut in this serie and I forgot to sum her scores.
I had actually forgotten she won in 2001. I just remembered her being in 2002- her last competition. You reminded me!
@@saragrant9749 Someone reminded me in the comments. I think I was too tired when I made the ranking that I completely forgot about her
Parabéns,a todas que apresentaram....🇧🇷🇧🇷🙌
OMG Lilia P really was a standout for her form and technique ❤
Love these vids! Thanks for doing these. Sorry about all the whiners in the comment sections. Like... do they not realize that they can just go make their own videos instead of bothering you about how you made yours?🤦♀️😆
Love this video - some really beautiful performances. For me personally though I do not rate Simone Biles as a gymnast full stop. Thanks for uploading.
what does that even mean
You're right, Simone is not a gymnast. She is an athletic goddess ✨️
Simone is the GOAT on beam, as much as people like to deny it. It's not even close. Argue with the wall.
I have a problem understanding your points system. Can you give an explaination.
I gave points based in their results at the Event Finals. For example, at 2023 worlds on Beam:
Simone - 10
Zhou - 8
Rebeca - 7
Sanne - 5
Urara - 4
...
The score here is the sum of all years
Eu amo a Simone, mas não consigo achar a série de trave dela bonita. Prefiro mil vezes ela no solo ou no salto
No taking credit away from Biles, but it is also fair to say that before the world championships were every 4 years, then every 2 and now every year in recent times... then the possibilities of getting more medals increase a lot
But when was every 4 years, they had much less competition. She is one of the few gymnasts that medaled on beam at every single worlds they competed (and the rest only made 1 or 2 worlds)
Shawn johnson......?
Only competed in 1 World beam final and finished 8th. This ranking is exclusive to World Championships and is based on a point system in the video description. It is meant to evaluate success over time, not talent.
Yang Bo, Kui Yuanyuan, Ling Jie, Liu Xuan, Zhou Yaqin, Li Qi, Guang Chenchen?
This list is based on competitive success in event finals
Please show the whole performance!
I can't, copyright
Nellie Kim competed a gainer tuck ON the beam???
Yes, she competed a combo of gainer tuck + gainer tuck too: czcams.com/video/cbkrDevankc/video.html
@@gymnasticfan9148 Those aren't gainer tucks in this link? Those are just back tucks. The dismount is a gainer tuck though
@@gymnasticfan9148 Great video btw haha I absolutely love your beyond medals series
@@goodyougetastar You are righr, I don’t know why I mistaken that
@@gymnasticfan9148 haha it's all good :))
Would prefer to see the entire routines. But, thx.
Shawn Johnson - the best ever! How to forgot her?
I didn't forget her, she was only at 1 Worlds and placed 8th in the EF
Daca si Elli Black e specialista la barna....🙄
What about Shawn Johnson she was the best on beam so far
This is just for worlds, not Olympics
Nellie Kim. Best gymnast ever!!!
Not hardly.
Sorry, just 1/8 of Biles, you know..
You can not compare. Different times. There was no spring on floor etc. Nellie Kim is the grand lady who did first the double back on hard floor!!!!!!
She holds no candle to athletes of her time such as Nadia, Olga, Ludmilla and more. They are legendary for their accomplishments in the sport. She is legendary as the worst judge of all time- and that’s it.
How dare you? Disrespectfull!!!
Olga Korbut si Nadia Comăneci au fost campioane olimpice si mondiale la bârnă. Nu-i bai că lipsesc din video, e plin internetul de asemenea clasamente.
Aceste gimnaste au făcut istorie in gimnastica mondială.
Sadly they never actually won a world title on beam- but DID in the Olympics!
@@saragrant9749 Nadia a cucerit aurul la bârnă la Campionatele mondiale de gimnastică de la Strasbourg din 1978.
A fost prima gimnastă românca care a cucerit o medalie de aur la un campionat mondial.
@@mihaelabruma8006 That would give her 10 points. The point system starts at 15 for Sanne Wevers. It’s a flawed system, but if you want to give even more for gold medals, Simone is going to have even more of a dominant result lol
Olga got silver and went to a singular worlds, that's why she doesn't have enough points for this list
I absolutely love Sanne but she fell off for me personally. I’m just not quite enjoying the style she displays in the international realm anymore.
Simone Biles is the Best! One in a century!!!
Bine...bine
Yawn. Well if you really are going to go BEYOND Medals and talk about the best beam specialists of all time you missed prolly the top 2 ever. Yang Bo and Kui Yuanyuan. At least you have Silivas, Ponar, and Miller on here as they stand out. The rest of the list is really a farce and means nothing no matter what 'point system' you use. The eye can tell you who's who is all you need to know. PERIOD. If you know you know!!!
If you know, then Biles is on top, no one can argue with her force, even you!!
Did they ever win a beam world or Olympic title? NO!! The very best have GOLD medals in their trophy case- period.
@@saragrant9749Watch Kui Yuanyuan's routine at the 1997 Worlds. Pretty much everyone thinks she was unfairly scored and should've gotten gold instead of bronze. Even the president of the international gymnastics federation chastised the judges for scoring her too low. The scoring system changed in part because of what happened to her. She did win a gold in fx at Worlds in 1996 though.
@@scarygreengiant I’m not saying she wasn’t scored too low, I’m saying the judges followed the rules of the code given to them.. if the president of FIG chastised them, he’s an idiot as he should have been chastising HIMSELF for such a ridiculous system. I have watched those ‘97 worlds and do feel Kui had an incredible beam set… that had VISIBLE CHECKS IN IT. Mo matter how much I might’ve agreed she had the most difficult set of the competition, those checks could not be ignored just because the routine was more difficult- period. Do I feel she should have won gold? In my heart, yes. Do I understand why she DIDN’T? Yes.
People- including the president of the FIG- chastising the judges angers me. They followed the rules given and were subsequently ridiculed for it. I’m a sports official myself (not gymnastics thank goodness) and would be incensed to be railed on for just following the rules as written because it produced a result people weren’t happy with. You all have no idea how hard it is these days to find ANYONE to officiate most sports, and it’s because they are almost always treated with utter disrespect and contempt, no matter how skilled they are! Get out there, do the DECADES of training it takes and become a judge. Only then will any of you have a right to criticize.
This is a points system based on competitive success, not a ranking of aesthetics. I think you've missed the point of the video...
Simone Biles…THE GOAT!!!
Huh?
I missed Andreea Raducan, and also in the Floor video
@@gymnasticfan9148 Oh my!
lame 🙄
