In this video, Sam runs through those whose jobs are likely most at risk of Brailsford and Ratcliffe's changes and how important all of this is in building the new elite performance, football and business culture INEOS want at United.

So if Omar Berrada has been put on gardening leave, won't Ashworth be the same, and if they can't start until the summer, surely that'll mean next Summer's transfer window will be the same as usual, last minute signings as they'll be just sat down and rustled a few papers on their desks and the window will be closed

If Mitchell was so elite he wouldn't be at Monaco. I'd leave the appointments up to Berrada. Ashworth is an obvious pick if possible because Newcastle are the richest club on the planet and hand picked him. Personally I'd have Rangnick in somewhere because he's been there and has been proven correct over time.

We needed a revolution in Manchester United and Jim Ratcliffe could deliver that revolution. Over ten years of mediocrity and disillusionment has infested our club and it's time to remove the cancer once and for all. Many players including fan favourites like Bruno Fernandes are not safe in the purge of Manchester United. We have to rebuild Manchester United and do it right.

United now have a salary cap. This is why the out of contracts don't look likely to sign. Casemiro, Varane etc all have to take a paycut. I don't know why this isn't talked about more. It's huge. Rashy just signed prior to Ratcliffe so he's on high wages.

McT is good squad player. Having said that, I acknowledge he's not a starting XI material IF all the midfielders not injured. With his capability, he work best tactically if United in the condition to play direct football when his physical attributes can make something happen inside opponent's box. Given the condition that United will play around 50-60 match per season and there will be some opponents that will play physically, thus McT will be a good option ONLY when United play in this kind of situation

I think it's probably a "chicken and the egg" scenario with a lot of the staff (and players) at United; you don't know if a lot of them are not good enough _because_ they just aren't good enough, or if it's because they don't have the right people around them.
The only person you could really blame is the one at the top (Arnold (and Woodward previously)), because it was up to them to get the right people in below them, and they obviously didn't.
It's a pity Berrada can't start until the summer (so that he can't use information about City transfers and stuff?), but I'm sure he's probably having a few conversations with Jim and his staff, who are probably more than capable of getting things done themselves anyway.

Now we're trying to give Mctominay a new contract. The revolution has started....

It might be to ensure a good sale price in the summer. He is in demand by premier league clubs so it probably won't be difficult to move him on. I doubt the new contract will include some sort of crazy wages that will preclude a sale.

He is perfect as a squad bench players. The problem is Ten Hag use him as a improtant regular first team player😂😂

@user-xo3cd5et7h I've never seen him have 7/10 performance he can score goals, but in the midfield, he's always been useless and invisible. I want him gone fred was much better than him. We had the chance to sell him and Maguire for good money, and we bottled it.

@@paddylast5839 Agree he should be sold... contract will be part of that. Without new contract his value is minimal at this point.

I hope Fletcher stays. I like the role you thought he would excel at.

What are you talking about? you don't need a lawyer negotiating a contract? Can you have some of what you have been smoking? you need people within the system and without knowing what someone is good for how can you comment if they are good or bad.

Well the Glazers won't clear it themselves and I don't think Sir Jim will do it until he has more control of the club.

Jon Murtough is like one of those cunning snakes, a political maestro who knows how to kiss ass. I'm hoping Brailsford and Ratcliffe will see through the smoke with that guy. No doubt he did great work during his academy days, but it's probably for the best that he leaves since Nick Cox is already doing great work there.

No.. What's happening at spurs is a revolution. What's happening at united are small steps think people need to quite down a bit and stop getting too excited.. It will be years before you start to even challenge

That's not a revolution at Spurs. They're back to what worked better for them. The more adventurous managers like Andre Vilas-Boas, Mauricio Pochettino, Ange Postecoglou. Jose Mourinho, Nuno Espirito Santo, Antonio Conte, they were never the kind of managers Spurs would go for within their traditions, just that they were so close to a big trophy under Poch that they ignored their desired style of play and culture to take a gamble on Pragmatism.
Spurs has a stable structure already where as our board are still living in the 90s

Sam Barnett leaving Manchester United is of NO significance!!!. He is NOT and was NOT the person who made any major decision. Hew was NOT the one who flew all over the place talking to agents, he was the one signing off on these Huge nonsense contract. Ok.. yes, he is gone, but again, he is a small fish in this Big Manchester United pond who NEEDs to go !!!!
