I'm in a cold wet rainy UK and the first storm of winter has just passed. It's getting dark now but I listen to IZ and especially this song and the sun comes out in my corner of the world. I love the ukulele and I love the big guy. My one sadness over his passing is that I will never see him play live.

My son had a stroke during birth, his first months were spent full of uncertainty and fear. Pulse oximeters and anti seizure medications, specialists and sleepless nights. I would play IZ for him as i rocked him and laid with him and his voice brought my soul some much needed peace. Now as I type this my son is a healthy happy 4.5 year old (thanks to neuroplasticity) and I’m playing this song for he and his little brother to go to sleep to while on vacation on Maui. Rest in peace IZ you are an angel to my family ❤

My son is healthy and his voice will always remind me of the relief we found in his home land. Rest well friend. Rest well
