Todd La Torre cannot sing these songs. Anyone who says he can knows absolutely nothing about singing and clearly have a hearing problem. Geoff is just something else and so under appreciated by the main stream it’s criminal
@@ianmason2003 I remember seeing the first concert without him with Q2K with that Kelly dude, it was horrible and I knew this band would never be the same, should have ended after that Grunge album imo.
Everyone in this band is phenomenal. All play their instruments great! Geoffs voice is second to none! Their harmony is awesome. My favorite band ever!

When Queensryche released their debut EP everyone who loved metal knew they were all ready on a different planet musically. Powerful progressive melodic masters.
When they toured for empire, they played operation from start to finish. It was as mind blowing as it was unexpected. I thought I died and went to different realms of the universe.
This is heavily cleaned up but I will say this, the earlier shows did not have the bass presence from the gear that this era carried. It was a HUGE difference because you could feel it. They were very good live and Tate. just wow back then.
well to be honest, there are instances where Geoff will sing a part slightly different than he did on the album. So I wouldn't say it sounds exactly the same, but I agree they do get closer than any other band I've seen/heard
I saw them when they were touring with Metallica. I was simply amazed how Geoff sang exactly same as on the record. He could hit very high notes back then.
Scott Rockenfield was definitely far too underrated as Queensrÿche's drummer. Great sound, and so unique. No one else played or sounded like Scott. Miss his drumming, that's for sure.
The album after Mindcrime was Empire, the tour I saw. In the middle of the concert they began the Mindcrime album, and from the first 5 seconds you just knew there's no way to play that beginning without finishing the whole album, and they did. Everyone lost their shit knowing that, and all lighters came aflame. Fantastic stuff, I'm here to tell ya.
You do know the video of these 2 Mindcrime songs is from the 1991 Building Empires Tour? It comes from the Operation: Livecrime video which shows the whole live Mindcrime segment of that tour when they were in Wisconsin.. To see the whole show with the Empire songs when they were in Toronto, watch this: czcams.com/video/DOaWRBYP7SQ/video.html
Most talented, hardest-working band of the 80's and 90's. Queensryche was the entire package. Saw this tour twice in one week. Wouldn't trade that Mindcrime experience for any other.
This has to be one of the most amazing live performances I've ever heard. I'm a huge fan of the band RUSH and, this is almost equal to their live sound. THAT SAYS A LOT!!!
it's amazing how certain songs, certain music can take you back in time...just close your eyes and smell, feel and hear the past...I loved these songs then..love them now..a brilliant , underrated album...
Raymond Lalmuana Not really underrated, this album has been voted the best hard rock, metal concept album ever! Kerrang and metal edge voted operation as the best concept album ever, till today nothing surpasses this album ahead of its time...
Exactly, this album is not and has never been underrated. Why do people say this... Sometimes I think people need to look up the term "underrated" and understand its meaning.
I've been listening to Queensryche since the 7th grade. I still listen to them today and love the music , so many memories !! This was a mind blowing performance !!! Geoff Tates vocals are beyond amazing !! Phenomenal band !!!!
Saw them in Seattle several times and every time it was perfect. I didn't realize it then but now that I'm an old man I realize I was watching the best live shows that I will ever see in my lifetime. I've tried to think of a show that had a better live sound and... I... just... can't.
for me queensryche is their amazing rithm section, probably the best in histroty of rock. Eddie Jackson and Scott Rockenfield were hart and soul of their music.
I saw the very last show, played in Spokane Washington (last stop before they got home to Seattle). After the show, they filmed the video for Anybody Listening.
I was there, and they were badass. Tate was in his prime as far as vocals goes. Queensryche nowadays sounds good with Todd La Torre and he does a great job at it,but Geoff Tate was the shit and untouchable at that time IMHO.
BS he was flawless on the Livecrime tour and the Empire tours. I rather doubt any band has ever sound closer to studio before or since. Not my favorite live show from back in the day but a flawless performances in Norfolk.
Nothing gets close to this. The riffs and the dramatic melodies with smart lyrics is unbeatable. Tons of other music and styles i like from different eras but this is top class.
I was lucky enough to catch them in Portland, Or back around '90 when they toured promoting Empire... and did Mindcrime in its entirety for the final time. LEGENDARY fucking band! Celebrate their catalog to my last breath.
saw the same concert dallas,tx played entire mind crime it kicked ass they had suicidal tendencies open for them and i remember they didn't serve alcohol per band, still good show
Todd La Torre cannot sing these songs. Anyone who says he can knows absolutely nothing about singing and clearly have a hearing problem. Geoff is just something else and so under appreciated by the main stream it’s criminal
We need bands like this again! 2024
Easy enough
Play this loud 📢🔊 your neighbors will become fans 😂
@@thewatchers5930 Good idea! 🫡😉
The Warning, Greta Van Fleet....definitely not the same, but better than fucking hiphop.
These boys were firing on all cylinders. Best concept album of all time.....Period.
Rush 2112
This was Queensryche! 🖤🤘🏻
Remember when music was this good!???
The MusicCrime of Queensryche was they didn't realize each of them was important. Geoff Tate was the voice!❤
Mindcrime...the best concept album...EVER!!😁
amen
Chris DeGarmo: The most underrated songwriter & lead guitarist in rock history!!!!Chris DeGarmo is Awesome!!!!
Your never so right
Yes!
Yup. Isn’t it strange timing he left and the band just never had it again?
No doubt

Yea, the first I heard was Rage for Order " Walk in the Shadows" back in high school....was hooked ever since...30+ years later.
He's got a good voice for sure, but better than Dio? Nah.
@@gustaafargoan Geoff was far better than dio. Hands down

I really miss THIS band

This band was the total package great singer great drummer great bassist, great lead ,guitar great producing ,great song writing

Totalmente de acuerdo luis
Great hairstyle 🤘
MADISON, WI. KICKING BUTT IN THE DAIRY/BEER CITY!!
For me, they were the best metal band in history. Still my no1 band and I’m 54
Can't understand how the current version of Queensryche still exists, refuse to support...
It's not that bad.... it's not the same but it's not that bad. There will never be another......
When Queensryche released their debut EP everyone who loved metal knew they were all ready on a different planet musically. Powerful progressive melodic masters.
I don't know about KNEW. Suspected? Yes. Rage for Order was the proof
Rage for the oder was
Not the ep queensryche
Was the ep
Their first EP was out of this world 4 titles and a true trademark
I wish I saw them live when they were touring this album. Such an amazing concept album. The BEST since 2112
When they toured for empire, they played operation from start to finish. It was as mind blowing as it was unexpected. I thought I died and went to different realms of the universe.
Geoff Tate and Chris DeGarmo ruled in 80's.
Queensryche era 🤘 🤘
I was obsessed with them back in the day but I had no idea they were such great live performers.
These guys were just so damn good. Incredible live experience.
Simpley the gods of rock
This Formation 🤘🙏🔥💥
How the hell the instruments sounds as same as the album? What a band, what a performance.. Just perfect.
This is heavily cleaned up but I will say this, the earlier shows did not have the bass presence from the gear that this era carried. It was a HUGE difference because you could feel it. They were very good live and Tate. just wow back then.
NO CRAP , THESE GUYS WERE AWESOME IN CONCERT!!
They put on the best live show I’ve ever seen!
I saw them live during Empire tour and they played all of Operation Mindcrime. It sounded spotless and perfect.
Thats the difference between the men and the boys
This is the peak of Queensrÿche, the peak of heavy metal
Eddie Jackson.... Amazing bassist and what a killer tone!
Spector!!
EdBass and Henrik from Avatar are the main reason I own a Spector. Supreme tone.
My favorite alongside Adam Kury and Jason Newstead
Jamás un bajo sonó tan maravillosamente bien.
No bs, just great music.
This group had it all.Way ahead of their time.
Chris DeGarmo another master musician to come out of Washington State.
This is QUEENSRYCHE !!!
Thanks to Geoff and Chris.
Thankyouqueenriche
What a great, great band and I have heard very few as good as Geoff Tate live in all my 51 years!🤘💯
This is sickk. I miss old queensryche😔
same here
One of the best, if not THE best, concept albums of all time. My gosh this story would make such an awesome movie if it were done right....
I so so loved this concert, was blown away!!
These guys were ahead of the time
Still love this band to this day. Truly one of the best in the 80's!!!!!
Such kick ass tunes, but also openly and rawly emotional. Wanna headbang and cry at the same time.
There is no Queensryche without Geoff Tate
Just a cover band without him.
Sad, but true
the ONLY band i know of that sounds the EXACT same live as they do on record. geoff knows how to sing so fuckin well. flawless.
well to be honest, there are instances where Geoff will sing a part slightly different than he did on the album. So I wouldn't say it sounds exactly the same, but I agree they do get closer than any other band I've seen/heard
I saw them when they were touring with Metallica. I was simply amazed how Geoff sang exactly same as on the record. He could hit very high notes back then.
Agreed, so agreed... but as a Rush- fan too....makes 2 bands at least ;-)
Being Queensryche and Rush fan, I agree... but Tool makes 3
Iron Maiden sounds like their studio albums live. Hell they even sounded tighter than Dream Theater when I saw them about 10 years ago.
Tate/DeGarmo = Queensryche
And rockenfield
Unbelieveable how queensryche looks in live show. This concret brings like i listen them in my house on stereo device. Great band and great musicians.
Chris DeGarmo is probably the most laid back musical bad-ass I have ever seen.

Top 5 albums, easily, of all time. Saw these guys at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado. That concert and Dream Theater, they both are the best.

Rare with a band that can play so flawless live, but these guys sure can. Act and play like this is an art form.
Tate's voice is so real and pure. No fancy machines to make him sound so awesome, it is his voice that is so powerful.
