That looks easier to replace than any I've seen! And on top of that you saved 100 bucks. Now that's an early Christmas present, haha!

But keep in mind that you can buy a filter at Toyota’s parts department. OEM is better. Just because you don’t know how aftermarket affects the air flow. Won’t have to worry about that when I get the specific filter at Toyota.

Did your mpg improve after the new filter? If so by how much?
Not enough to notice the difference but it should have a slight improvement with a clean filter.

Depends a bit on the type of driving you're doing (dusty roads vs city driving). I'd say once a year is good.
