@@cherryblossom3219 Yeah it never happened again At that time we were living in a neighborhood where vodoo and sht happens we were even instructed by our parents to never open the door immediately when someone knocks and that we have to ask first who they are before opening even though we have a gate lmao plus we owned a boarding house at that time and some weird AF people boarded in our boarding house after some time passed after one of boarders complained about one of their roommates would sometimes float during the night and hear some weird murmuring we decided to close down the boarding house that was 8 years ago or so idk what happened to the house by now tho lmao
If we think about it... could it be a curse from the river? Or what if it was that shadow was a creature that tried to lure his friend into the waters by stealing his shoes and planned to drown him but Kuzuha unconsciously saved his friend by sharing his shoe. So after some years and some coincidences, that night the shadow tried to get some sort of revenge from Kuzuha by drowning him but Meg arrived just in time and saved both of them. Of course, this is just a theory
Why did I watch this at night time omg... the one that really gave me chills is when he realized it might have come into the room instead of just closing the door and that Meg barked not just to protect them but saw it out. What i love about this is that usually we get bored listening to someone telling a story but the way Kuzuha set them slowly and keeping us in such a good pace made me realized that this was an almost 12 min video. He kept us attentive.
My English is kinda limited but here in Indonesia, there are some 'rules' or 'taboos' that we called 'Pamali' that consist of things you shouldn't do for your own safety. Some of them are like not playing near certain rivers, not taking a bath at night and messing/playing around with water at night, and messing around knocking the floor or walls like Kuzuha and his friend exactly do at 3:18. The reason is all of these things will attract or disturb the 'other beings' around you, which would not be a good thing. I'm not saying that I want to equalize what taboos happens here in Indonesia and there in Japan but at that 3:18 timestamp, I know right away that 'something' would come to him because of that knocking (because that knocking rule is the one that kinda scares me the most, it hits too close to home), but I shrug it off as I thought "They are in Japan, there's just no way". And when that really happens, I jokingly try to count how many 'Pamalis' that he and his friends broke..... and yes the 'Pamalis' that they broke are the ones I used for the examples in paragraph above. And that's a lot. So, I'm so glad that Kuzuha and his friend were safe and nothing too terrible happened to them. I know that getting sleep paralysis twice in a row is a terrible experience, but at least his soul is still in his body XD. As to why they heard Meg barks, we were told to start to pray for safety when hearing the sound of a dog barking (even if there's clearly no dogs in the area), because the barking indicates that there is something dangerous that you can't see and the 'dog' is trying to warn you while trying to shoo the danger away. (Apache) My grandmother often told us stories like that and things not do at night (Dont chew gum, Dont Whistle, If you feel like your being followed do not turn around) (we combat these things with Salt, ashes from fire, smoking tobacco not cigarettes) ...but eventually she would knockn on the doorrs and windows to scare us into bed as children. We figured it out and eventually knew otherwise. Not trying to discredit beliefs or anything but our family became Toxic and we think our bad energy is what scares ghosts away 😂 or affecting our emotions to becom toxic. I could go on and on about this. Had many experiences some questionable, some explainable, Neat food for thoughts.

Then again i never really counted when it happens just i know it did happens very frequent at a time like it happens 3 times a week for a month. So having two in the same day wasnt really notable for me at the time because i get used to it. I never really had any now tho

Because lost soul or spirit desperately want to feel like they are human or don’t want to lose their mind (it is told that when you become soul that stuck in world for too long, you are bound to slowly lose your mind and become a dark spirit or get capture by other stronger spirit) so most dolls have something living inside, the fact Kuzu and his friend stayed in room with dolls there is chance the room is also room where spirits resident because it makes them feel safe but at the same time not all spirits is kind specially to kids, many see them as “innocent” soul (untainted) so they driven to scared them

Sleep paralysis is more like being aware that you're asleep than being aware that you are dreaming. From what Im experiencing you dont go anywhere when you have sleeping paralysis you just stay where you are with difficulty in breathing, movement and sometimes you see shadows.
Idk if it's cause I'm mentally tired or there's an actual "other being" That leech onto me for a short time... But i once got sleep paralyzed for around 2 almost 3 weeks. At first it happens all night and i cant get myself awake, unless someone woke me up. I even try to place my phone beside me in case it happen, I'll call my dad to come over my room. I once had a sleep paralysis too. Woke up to like five very tall shadows sorrounding me. Like how a grim reaper should look. I struggled to move but I just can't and when I mentally said to myself that I'm gonna die. I suddenly moved. Then I checked the time and it was 03:01am. I was so scared at that time that I didn't sleep again. That morning, all my cats(I have 6) went home. And started to die one by one(someone poisoned my cats. May karma get them). And I have this thought that maybe those shadows took my cats lives instead of mine. Maybe I have 9 lives too.
This is so scary. Actually, since I’m so scared I decided to share my sufferings with my sister. I called her then told her this story. She got so afraid and told it to my mom. In the end i suffered the most because I got nagged by my mom because my sister can’t sleep. 😅

My family always tell me not to leave rooms unattended/vacant because spirits might use that space otherwise as the need space for themselves so if this is true it could be true for kuzuhas case as well since his friend usually used to sleep with his parents and that room was a store maybe that hollow figure took control of that room since it wasn't in use and they say animals can see things which the naked eye can not maybe meg really was protecting them.....this really did give me chills
When I was younger I remember seeing a stick man similar to what Kuzuha in my old house described I saw it because I was having trouble sleeping and my eyes were squinted but I never got sleep paralysis it was more fear than anything I stayed in bed it didn’t have any eyes but y’know that feeling when you meet eyes with someone else that happened and this tall dark figure noticed it and ran into the other room because at the time I was sleeping in the living room because I wanted to wait for my dad to get home so after a few seconds I got up and woke up my mom saying “I saw something run to the kitchen” and we both knew it wasn’t my dad since the front door was locked and so while I was holding onto her we walked to the kitchen to find nothing then she grabbed a bottle of holy water which I didn’t even know we had from one of the kitchen cabinets and we went to every room and bathroom in the house and threw holy water and we went back to the living room and I slept
I'm not good at English but i'll try my best to share my story. My mom's family line is somewhat been haunted for years. We have this one house that is usually used for our family gathering. It was surrounded by big trees. We have family gatherings many times in each year so the house was like our second home. Ever since when i was a kid, i usually get a lot of people who asks me if i can see spirits since i have a mole on my eye. Which they say, third eye. I get the same dream everytime i sleep on the same place i usually sleep on. It's a about a guy's sillhouete, his body is for someone who is 30-40 y.o. One time, my brother woke up at 3-4 am, right after he opened his eyes, a boy's sillhouette revealed in front of him and ran away. When my brother shared that story, my older sister said like "oh that's the same thing happened to me" yet it was a girl's sillhouette. Our uncle (mom's brother in law, who lives in that place) said that "don't do anything to them. They're friendly. I always see them in the back of the house playing." I freaked out right when i heard that. There's a LOT of scary incidents happened to that place. I can't rly share them w/ u guys bec it might take for a while to type it all. (Also i never get a proper sleep everytime i sleep in that house)
I do have sleep paralysis twice (as far as I can remember) both of them is about some black figure prevent me to get up. "Let's play" it say. Not being able to get up or even move at all for some amount of time really scared me. Btw, really nice story Kuzuha 👍🏻
Sleep paralysis is so annoying, as how he described it.. even though you know its just a sleep paralysis you still get scared as you feel like youre being physically harmed by something. In my case when I try to forcefully move my body it feels like its getting tighter it becomes harder to move and breath plus you cant even scream😂. People told me to wiggle my toes, sometimes it works but sometimes it doesnt. when i finally wake up..my body is so sweaty and i keep wondering ..did i really open my eyes when it happened. Whats creepy about it is ..it only happens in my old bed room when i was a kid. Now, sleeping with the lights open helps me avoid getting SP'd.
Tell yourself that that's not true. It works for me tho. Once i was dreaming getting killed by a man I told myself that's a hologram (oh my god fr how high i was lol). And the man eventually became a hologram and shrinks and the hologram was disappearing through my heart?? I know it's sounds weird but what can i do, that's a dream.
There's a superstition in where I grew up in, which if you dreamed of getting surrounded with water, you'll be in trouble. Sorry to sound like a freaked person or weird but, having a dream where someone is filling the room with water means someone or something in there is bound to stir trouble. Based on the appearance mentioned, it sounded paranormal
I wasn't there that time but my older cousins thought about sharing something scary happened to them a few years ago. It was a normal day, just woke up. All of them went to the dining table to have breakfast. Also there's only three of them on the dining table. Four chairs. A few minutes later they can't help but hear someone laughing. Right beside my cousin. But there's no one there, they thought "ah, maybe it was just the neighbour." Thought they misheard it. They tried ti impersonate the laugh, im gonna tell you but it was the most creepiest 'laugh' i've ever heard.
It is more of a cute story than scary but it's also hella creepy I imagine if that happens to me. I'd like to imagine the other boy was one of Kanae's incarnation-

Sleep paralysis is when you’re in a state between dream and reality. It makes you see hallucination most of which are what people call demons. Everyone has different demons based on what they fear the most. You can’t move and you feel that your chest is heavy keeping you from breathing. The most terrifying part is that you can hear voices of familiar people you know whispering in your ear. Your experience is most likely you remembering a nightmare that majorly impacted you as a person since most nightmares tend to be forgotten a few hours after you awake.

Sleep paralysis is more like being aware that you're asleep than being aware that you are dreaming. From what Im experiencing you dont go anywhere when you have sleeping paralysis you just stay where you are with difficulty in breathing, movement and sometimes you see shadows.
Idk if it's cause I'm mentally tired or there's an actual "other being" That leech onto me for a short time...
But i once got sleep paralyzed for around 2 almost 3 weeks. At first it happens all night and i cant get myself awake, unless someone woke me up. I even try to place my phone beside me in case it happen, I'll call my dad to come over my room. Idk why i thought it'll work tho lol. But i just didd.
Until i know and remember if it's goin to happen, about to happen, i can fight back.. There's always feelin like a someone grab or crawling up from my leg, when it happens, I'll quickly kick back, throw my hands up or just sitting right away, to avoid "sleeping paralyzed" ✌✌✌

I once had a sleep paralysis too. Woke up to like five very tall shadows sorrounding me. Like how a grim reaper should look. I struggled to move but I just can't and when I mentally said to myself that I'm gonna die. I suddenly moved. Then I checked the time and it was 03:01am. I was so scared at that time that I didn't sleep again. That morning, all my cats(I have 6) went home. And started to die one by one(someone poisoned my cats. May karma get them). And I have this thought that maybe those shadows took my cats lives instead of mine. Maybe I have 9 lives too.

This is so scary. Actually, since I’m so scared I decided to share my sufferings with my sister. I called her then told her this story. She got so afraid and told it to my mom. In the end i suffered the most because I got nagged by my mom because my sister can’t sleep. 😅

My family always tell me not to leave rooms unattended/vacant because spirits might use that space otherwise as the need space for themselves so if this is true it could be true for kuzuhas case as well since his friend usually used to sleep with his parents and that room was a store maybe that hollow figure took control of that room since it wasn't in use and they say animals can see things which the naked eye can not maybe meg really was protecting them.....this really did give me chills
When I was younger I remember seeing a stick man similar to what Kuzuha in my old house described I saw it because I was having trouble sleeping and my eyes were squinted but I never got sleep paralysis it was more fear than anything I stayed in bed it didn’t have any eyes but y’know that feeling when you meet eyes with someone else that happened and this tall dark figure noticed it and ran into the other room because at the time I was sleeping in the living room because I wanted to wait for my dad to get home so after a few seconds I got up and woke up my mom saying “I saw something run to the kitchen” and we both knew it wasn’t my dad since the front door was locked and so while I was holding onto her we walked to the kitchen to find nothing then she grabbed a bottle of holy water which I didn’t even know we had from one of the kitchen cabinets and we went to every room and bathroom in the house and threw holy water and we went back to the living room and I slept

My mom's family line is somewhat been haunted for years.
We have this one house that is usually used for our family gathering. It was surrounded by big trees.
We have family gatherings many times in each year so the house was like our second home.
Ever since when i was a kid, i usually get a lot of people who asks me if i can see spirits since i have a mole on my eye. Which they say, third eye.
I get the same dream everytime i sleep on the same place i usually sleep on. It's a about a guy's sillhouete, his body is for someone who is 30-40 y.o.
One time, my brother woke up at 3-4 am, right after he opened his eyes, a boy's sillhouette revealed in front of him and ran away.
When my brother shared that story, my older sister said like "oh that's the same thing happened to me" yet it was a girl's sillhouette.
Our uncle (mom's brother in law, who lives in that place) said that "don't do anything to them. They're friendly. I always see them in the back of the house playing." I freaked out right when i heard that. There's a LOT of scary incidents happened to that place. I can't rly share them w/ u guys bec it might take for a while to type it all.
(Also i never get a proper sleep everytime i sleep in that house)
I do have sleep paralysis twice (as far as I can remember) both of them is about some black figure prevent me to get up. "Let's play" it say. Not being able to get up or even move at all for some amount of time really scared me. Btw, really nice story Kuzuha 👍🏻

Sleep paralysis is so annoying, as how he described it.. even though you know its just a sleep paralysis you still get scared as you feel like youre being physically harmed by something.
In my case when I try to forcefully move my body it feels like its getting tighter it becomes harder to move and breath plus you cant even scream😂.
People told me to wiggle my toes, sometimes it works but sometimes it doesnt. when i finally wake up..my body is so sweaty and i keep wondering ..did i really open my eyes when it happened.
Whats creepy about it is ..it only happens in my old bed room when i was a kid.
Now, sleeping with the lights open helps me avoid getting SP'd.
Tell yourself that that's not true. It works for me tho. Once i was dreaming getting killed by a man I told myself that's a hologram (oh my god fr how high i was lol). And the man eventually became a hologram and shrinks and the hologram was disappearing through my heart?? I know it's sounds weird but what can i do, that's a dream.
There's a superstition in where I grew up in, which if you dreamed of getting surrounded with water, you'll be in trouble. Sorry to sound like a freaked person or weird but, having a dream where someone is filling the room with water means someone or something in there is bound to stir trouble. Based on the appearance mentioned, it sounded paranormal

I wasn't there that time but my older cousins thought about sharing something scary happened to them a few years ago.
It was a normal day, just woke up. All of them went to the dining table to have breakfast. Also there's only three of them on the dining table.
Four chairs. A few minutes later they can't help but hear someone laughing.

But there's no one there, they thought "ah, maybe it was just the neighbour." Thought they misheard it.
They tried ti impersonate the laugh, im gonna tell you but it was the most creepiest 'laugh' i've ever heard.

I have this memory of me being alone deep in the ocean. I didnt know about sleep paralysis when this happened but is that what it is??? During that "Dream" i think, i was able to breathe normally. I didnt remember the rest but i wake up because it was time to go to school and my mom woke me up.
Sleep paralysis is when you’re in a state between dream and reality. It makes you see hallucination most of which are what people call demons. Everyone has different demons based on what they fear the most. You can’t move and you feel that your chest is heavy keeping you from breathing. The most terrifying part is that you can hear voices of familiar people you know whispering in your ear. Your experience is most likely you remembering a nightmare that majorly impacted you as a person since most nightmares tend to be forgotten a few hours after you awake.
