These battery powered saws are made like that as a safety feature. Theyre made for little old ladies to be able to handle basic trimming. I have a dewalt battery angle grinder and it will do the same shut off thing if it gets in a bind. The rigid version has to have the battery popped out and back in to restart. I understand why they make it like that.
Probably the same saw under the plastic as the one that died on me in the last video. You'll see my solution soon enough. Might be overkill in some people's opinion.
This size wood, an Oregon easy cut or heavy-duty sawhorse would be the best thing, fill it up and put one of your bigger saws through it. That pile would be logs in just a few minutes.
Was cutting at home and noise is an issue so I tried the battery top-handle. My 80V battery saw would've worked a lot better but didn't feel like digging out the sawbuck for it. I should've. Would've been done a lot faster.
I wouldn’t say that’s a commercial grade battery saw at all. It’s probably meant for DIY who doesn’t know any better and thinks they have a “commercial” saw at a cheep price. Good for trying it out tho, and until it’s been use nobody would know.
Hey Dad I have a 310 Echo 180 Stihl chainsaw. To take care of this kind of wood. Myself I'm thinking about getting rid of anything under 50 cc chainsaw.
Hey Doc, I hope you had a great Thanksgiving! It was brought to my attention that if the Indians wouldn't have given the pilgrims a turkey for their Thanksgiving dinner. If they would have given the pilgrims a donkey we'd all be getting a piece of ass on Thanksgiving dinner. Keep up the great videos
The 80V battery saw is brilliant. No issues with the 80V lawnmower and the leaf blowe either. I'll keep it around to cut a branch or two that drops every now and then as nobody wants to buy it. And have been trying to sell it. LOL!
Hey Doc, I've been working on a new song it's called in dream. Not the Roy Orbison song. It goes something like this. I hope I'm in your dreams the way, you are in the way you are in all of mine. You've got to love so fine I wish I could make you mine. And then it goes on I don't want to bore you. What do you think should I keep going?
Sorry Stanley, but you are not my type. A good looking guy, but not my type. OOOPS! Thought it was a song to make me swoon. LOL, go with the full song.
What is this thing you called "a good stuff"? A better saw? Genuinely curious as to what you mean. A Brit would say, "You need a better bit of kit for the job."
A good saw that's okay for trimming and stuff but if you use it a lot a friend of mine had one of them the little sprocket stripped off of the drive shaft and I was just pressed on and also there's no way to replace the sprocket when it wears out
@@garytimms2951, keep watching and you'll see my solution. Want to get more into tree cutting/brushing out free wood if get the chance to expand next year.
You know when I watch your videos. I think yeah I have that it's better. I'm going to keep my gasoline chainsaws. 10 or 15 years when they're outlawed. I'll be done anyways.

Is absolutely ridiculous how often it stuck, especially for one labeled "commercial" grade.
Hey Doc, I hope your Thanksgiving was good. That is curious that the saw keeps stalling.
Probably a bad sensor in it.
I have the Husqvarna T435 top handle saw. I really like it especially when I’m using a man lift. It also doesn’t stall out 😂😂👍👍
A decision has been reached as to what to do next.
Neotec got a top handle saw. 25cc $109 today Black Friday sale. I think it has a 14-in bar on it. You may want to check it out this morning

@@thefirewooddoctor hey Doc you're the one that's got to run your chainsaws you buy what you like! I just enjoy your videos

Oh my goodness Doc, I bought a 3-year-old 180 Stihl chainsaw from a pawn shop 3 years ago 100 bucks I'm still running it
That's a good price. Some pawn shops are trying to get over $200 for a used Stihl 170.

Have had it for years. Should've returned it the first day. But now am stuck with it.

I'm keeping my 50cc saw. Just got rid of one of my other saws. You'll see what I got soon enough.
Hey Doc tell me which rear handle chainsaw you going to buy.
You'll see what I ended up getting.
Okay Dad are you going to go eco? How much room do you have for solar panels. How much money do you have to invest in them? Just thinking out loud
Eco? Heck no!
I'm telling you doc, I don't get wood this small. My uncle 310 352 take care of it .
Got a bunch of small stuff in the latest load of logs.

That's true.
To be honest, I would throw it in the trash- JMO - I have given up on the Green Works power tools

Already many small gas engines are banned soon in California and Illinois.
Doc sell your old chainsaw for a hundred bucks parts. Buy a new one keep running doing videos
For $100 bucks can get another cheap one just like it.
Really!!!? Sorry thumbs down today.
Like to watch something more productive, or restful.
Was a bugger of a tool to use. But when it works like it should, is okay to use but not great to use.
