Could China invade Taiwan?

  • When Russia invaded Ukraine just over a year ago, the question was raised if China could be watching what happened to determine if it could launch its own invasion of the independent island nation of Taiwan.
For years, Chinese President Xi Jinping has said Taiwan would some day reunify with China but outside of military exercises near the island, there has yet to be actual movement that has signified if Beijing would take the next step and try to invade.
Sean Previl takes a look at the history of the country, the political conditions it currently faces and what could happen if China did take that step.

❤If Taiwan is said to belong to China , then by the same logic, USA, Canada, Australia, NZ should belong to England? 😅 But these democracies do not think so. Territorial ownership is not carved in stone of history. ROC gov lost the civil war to ccp in mainland china and migrated the government to taiwan by militarily occupying it. A gov is a group of humans and not a fixed territory. Imagine them as teams in computer games. They lose and escapes to another territory and conquer that as new territory for the ROC. Japan returned TW to ROC govt in 1952, a few years after PRC was formed in 1949. This is the official return of taiwan to ROC. For 50 years before this, Japan owned Taiwan, not china. China lost it to Japan. The hominides first occupied the china land. So that land did not exist to be owned by chinese. All lands on earth were created by nature and not created to belong to any race. Despite the Absolute Truth, many countries dare not acknowledge TW out of fear and self interest. They are dishonest but pragmatic, void of morality. This is the 人之初。Morality is not the primal interest of humans. Whats primal is self interest at all cost. Case in point, Ukraine war. So many murdered everyday including today. The world does not really feel they need to help ukrainians out of human morality. Life goes on. Look at Macron, out if self interest, he rather the Unity be broken in favor of dictatorship 😅. How does dictatorship rule when the Dictator is merely 1 man vs the population?? It's by making the people DisUnited by being Self Preservatory. Human primal interest is Self Interest and Dictators understands this well and relies on this DNA to control the mob

The US sends them weapons, they are all Pacific, and even if a war breaks out with China, they will have issue as China is their #1 Trading partner by a huge margin. The US only offers them weapons in exchange for them purchasing US Debt (Treasury Bonds). But either way, the US needs to win this, and we will.

It is important to note that authoritarianism versus democracy is a complex issue with varying opinions and perspectives. History has indeed shown us that wars can be costly in terms of both resources and human lives. Finding peaceful solutions and promoting cooperation and trade is a more effective way to preserve humankind. Regarding the specific case of China, it is essential to note that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has its own ideology and governing principles that may differ from those of other countries. It is up to the people of China to address their leaders to show the best path forward for their country. Leaders Like Putin and Xi can become "intoxicated" by power - engaging in wrong behavior simply because they know they can get away with it. Ultimately, the global community should strive to promote cooperation and collaboration among nations and improve all political systems that can help to foster greater understanding, trust, and mutual respect, which can lead to more stable and peaceful relationships between countries.

It is to occupy Taiwan in a short period of time after turning the United States' attention with North Korea's invasion of South Korea, and I think there will be plans to isolate and occupy Japan in a short period of time by the military of communist countries after occupying South Korea. This is called the '聲東擊西' strategy in an old Chinese story.

What is the meaning of the " china's bad and aggressive behavior"? during the DPRK and Korea war, American army threw the bombs in China and Chinese goverment has to send army to Korea in order to protect himself. They don't want to have the war, too.
The war with India, in 1962, India army went into China illegally and CN goverment warned then many times, but they didn't follow it! So CN had a war again with India.
As for Vietnam, Vietnam has been invaded by France and the US. CN goverment gave Vietnam many things to help them, but Vietnam invade China first! CN goverment had to protect himself, so they had another war with Vietnam.
Japan, I don't wanna say anything about it.
