I'm now convinced that RedMage simply wants to educate us about the existence of EVERY normal monster in the game.
If so then I want to see him do a replay with Tyhone and/or Tyhone #2, #2 especially since there was an archetype/deck (hazyflames if I recall right) in which it was essential due to it being the only normal that had its specific level, type, and attribute combination, that or at the very least it had the best stats of all the normals with said combination.

Fun fact: the reason rapid trigger destroys for fusion is because it's meant to work with rokkets to make the Borreload fusion while also triggering the effect of the rokkets to special summon more materials at the end of the turn.

I haven't read the card, but given that you only specify levels does that mean XYZ's are unrestricted then or did it also mention ranks? If only levels being specified is the case then that part of the effect doesn't stop numerons sadly.
@@EnergyBurst2 it’s the first line of text on Labyrinth Wall Shadow, and I have tested it, because links and xyz don’t have levels they are unable to attack on the turn their summoned (summoned linkuriboh and couldn’t attack the turn I summoned it while I had labyrinth wall shadow up)
@@EnergyBurst2 also I think for an effect that affects xyz based on their rank then it will say rank and same for links with link. (Such as spright cards mentioning level/rank/link 2 cards)
If a card doesnt have a property that is required by a floodgate effect, it typically takes the losing side of the bargain, iirc.
It also affects xyz and link since they don't have a level. Now if it had similar wording to Evilswarm Ophion and said "You're opponent cannot attack with monsters whose original level is 5 or lower" then xyz and link monsters would be able to attack, since the effect would have only applied to monsters that are Level 5 or lower and not monsters with ranks or links@@EnergyBurst2

Rapid Trigger destroys for fusion because it's a Rokket card and it triggers all the material's destruction effects.
Of all the unique and interesting things to summon off of Eye Of Timaeus , Amulet Dragon might have been the only wrong answer. I would have accepted anything but that card specifically.

It would be very cool if the -Chaos- Black Luster Soldiers got finishing blow animations that looked like sword slashes.
They should add different animations for things like popping, shuffling cards to deck, bouncing to hand etc, imagine you could have an obnoxious spring noise when you bounce a card

Riryoku Guardian is how Riryoku works in Yugioh Duelists of the Roses (that you should play if you haven't yet!!) but Guardian is only for the GG cards, where the DotR version the final bosses can use for any monster; it's a pain to deal with but it's so cool seeing this card being real for my bois Gate Guardians.

I'm really surprised more people haven't tried out rapid trigger. that card is actually nuts.
Looking at the design, Gate Guardian is a good OTK deck. Dark Element almost makes the OTK strategy more consistent. But somehow Konami added an unnecessary requirement (Gate Guardian monster in GY) and made it almost unplayable.
I think it was floating because that chain happened in the Summon Activation Window?
The numerons cant attack in the GG replay because they dont have levels! (only big level mons can atk same turn as theyre summoned under the GG field spell)

Yeah but he could've tributed baronne with one of his ritual effects i believe. It was a misplay that let his opp play a lot more than he shouldve lmao
