I did.. Maybe... About 3 weeks ago I woke up from a nap and I felt very sick. I took a paracetamol pill and I started feeling better but it went back and
I had this feeling that I need to shit and I also felt the needed to vomit so basically I felt the need to spew out food from both ends of my digestive system. After that day I went to the doctor and she gave me some medicine take a blood and shit sample and drink a ton of pedialyte. The resulte of the blood test were normal and the shit test said I had something wrong with my digestive system, but all I had to do was continue taking medicine and drink 3 liters of pedialyte a day. Pedialyte only lasts 24 hours after opening so I couldnt just drink it tomorrow instead of taking in 3 liters a day
So we wasted a ton of money. I still managed to recover so when a doctor tells me drink 3 liters of something a day( when I got dengue fever in 2014 I was told to drink 3 liters of water but that didnt help my platelets) I'm not taking in all

I know out of close to 400k subs you wont remember me but hoping one day be one of the few youtubers out there to stand out. Ur the one of the best youtubers out along with the videos.. It's fucked up that American citizens need an insurance in order to afford basic medical treatment on a regular basis. That's the kind of stuff you'd expect from a developing country, not the (supposedly) most powerful nation on the planet. Over here in little capitalist communist (yup, it's a weird mix) Sweden most medical expenses are covered by the state. My grandma's pacemaker and heart surgery cost her the equivalent of $15, no strings attached and no questions asked. Getting a check-up by a licensed doctor is also around $15. The American government should fix the problem so people don't have to hope that what ever weird bug they've caught will pass on its own.

Defo food poisoning .... The dramatic weight loss was actually body fluid due to the watery stools ( pooping )
Medical technician, all the symptoms point to severe food poisoning and the development of the headaches and sore throat are the results of dehydration because of the massive loss of bodily fluid through chronic diarrhea. Seems from his story obvious since all 3 ( his wife, son and himself ) had the same symptoms that they have all eaten the same meal thats caused food poisoning.

Ryan Darcy To be honest aswell that is the symptoms of food poisoning which i agree with you but aswell the first problem he had with headaches and stomach problems and diarrhea sounds like chlorine poising which found in water to make safe to drink and wouldn't be surprised that some of the pools from his holiday that they may have put too much in and got poisoned so to say. I mean he did say that there hospitality has gone down and i would say so has the precautions of the place where he went on his holiday. As for the breathing problem id say that was weight issues and lack of vitamins etc and exercise with him being extremely poorly his immune system would be extremely low and hes ran into a real bad line of luck but i am very glad to hear that he is better and recovering at a succeeding rate :) good to see ya again on the screen
I agree with food poisoning, I think the other infections were secondary. His immune system was crippled, and pneumonia was trying to set in.
This is so wrong. From the point that people are not going to get themselves checked out because they dont have health insurance, thats when you know that your system doesn't work. Get well barny. I got a similar thing, now getting through the sinus thing..

Jonathan Bryant Anywhere in the EU I believe. Personally I live in Malta (EU member) and you can choose to go to a private hospital and pay cash or you can just go to the hospital normal people go. Also I do not know any people that have any life insurance etc.. its not really needed or house insurance since fires will not cause the buildings to burn down etc.. If you do go to a private hospital then the doctors ask you what they should do by giving you options while if you go to the governmental one then they will mostly take care of everything.
US looks like a unique country from what I hear but it has a lot of weird problems that we rarely experience.

16 lbs of mostly water, I bet 90% the weight rebounded after a week. I went through a similar experience, but it wasn't nearly as bad!

astragalous will help you avoid getting sick in the first place. as long as you don't have inflammation/autoimmune type diseases. as it might temporarily make them worse. i do have an autoimmune problem so i only take them in the winter on the one day a week i leave my house. or if I've been around someone sick. i used to get a cold or 2 every winter, I've had 2 colds in the last 5 years, and both of those happened when i was lazy about taking care of myself.

Affordable care means I pay for everything out of pocket up to $20k and then insurance kicks in and I still gave to pay hundreds a month for that. It's the dumbest healthcare system ever.

The more I hear about you losing that "stellar Microsoft Insurance Package" the more I am glad I live in Europe. Everything you mentioned is just basic care, free of charge, here. Well of course you pay for insurance every month, but its not that much and the best thing is, that you don't get into that terrible situation, where you were just now, where you are absolutely sick but still question, if you should go to a doctor because of financial reasons. I love America but that healthcare system is fubar. Like Third World bad.

That weight you lost was water weight. As we all know, the human body is mostly water, so your sickness made you so dehydrated you lost 16 pounds of just water. Somewhere there is a video of a guy who intentionally dehydrated himself to the point that he lost 20 lbs in a day.

I'm really glad your feeling better. Could i just maybe recommend you start exercising regularly since your feeling better now? People that exercise regularly tend to get sick less or with less severity. Start off slow with maybe just 20 - 30 min every other 3 times a week until you get more comfortable. Once again glad your feeling better and thanks for all your hard work and entertaining vids.

Damn that is rough Jerry, glad you're feeling better. You should take this experience and turn it into something positive; with some simple lifestyle changes you can turn your health around improving your immune system to your energy levels to your life expectancy. I evaluated my diet late last year as my weight just kept creeping up slowly and I wanted to turn it around, I found some really useful channels here on youtube and blogs through Google to help guide me back down to a healthier lifestyle. I've discovered so many great easy meals and snacks to keep me fed and my metabolism burning, and the impact it has every aspect of your life is totally profound. Just recently I started integrating short 5-10 minute bursts of exercise into my days to speed things a long, and that too has had a huge impact. But a healthy life style is 80% diet, the exercise is secondary.
Glad to see you're feeling better. Keep up with the fluids; pedialyte tastes horrible so gatorade could be a good alternative. Don't drink too much coffee, it's a diuretic, er, makes you wee more so it's gonna dehydrate you even more and cause further headaches. Hope to see more videos from you soon. FYI: It is common for a bacterial infection to follow a viral infection.
Second, the toilet paper tube makes me weary as you may not be receiving the full dose due to the drug particles catching, or leaking through the porous tube. It may increase the number of actuations or inhales your will need to see a response.

The blue inhaler! Really wish I still got those. The red ones taste terrible! But any kind of respiratory virus is really scary, even if you don't have asthma. I feel like it's one of those things that people don't think much about if they've never experienced not being able to breathe, but it's extremely serious. I was hospitalized for about a week a couple months ago because I caught this nasty respiratory virus and it was mixed with my bad asthma. I was minutes away from having to be put in ICU and having a tube shoved down my throat. Anyways, glad your feeling better! And good call on the toilet paper roll!

@Barnacules Nerdgasm I had the same exact thing about a week and a half ago. Barfed like 14 times..hershey squirts afterwards, at the same time too once or twice..chugged water, about 2500mG of vitamin C a day..slept 20 hours straight the first day..felt like death the first 48 hours..and then got over it in 4 days...I figured my kids brought it home from school..it sucked. Get 100% better soon man.

My "Happy meds" made me gain 60 pounds over 7 years. Stopping them stopped my weight gain but didnt cause me to lose any, and I dont eat much, either. I asked my doctor to give me fluid pills, because I am pretty bright and figured my meds caused me to retain fluids. Making a long story short, over 6 months my fluid pills dumped FORTY POUNDS out of my body. Off the paxil, and other crap and after 10 months of withdrawals (brainzaps) I am finally back to being me. I am always "blue", but I am learning on my own to deal with it. Best wishes, buddy.

I have some sort of bronchitis too. I started to lose my voice and had a huge headache on Thursday and I had to stay home from school on Friday. Things were looking up on Saturday but on Sunday it was the worst I felt in years. I went to the doctor today. Barnacules Nerdgasm anyways, I hope you feel better!
