@The Shadow Dwelling Poet From the other comments left, you seem to be trolling to create confrontation. If you didn't like or appreciate the comment you did not have to respond. As to your comment about me "hearing" your tone, I am a student of English and words are important and reading tone is part of that. You being a "poet" of some sort I'm sure you understand that concept.

I believe it. A lot of facts that would prove this to be true. I have noticed when it comes to truth it is harder for our people to accept what is true.
Wonder woman and everything was related to her come from this. Of course Disney would acquire it. Disney who is an umbrella to comcast, universal, etc.
Yes, it says fictional character on google...but if you keep digging, there is proof of "Califia". There are many official buildings that have murals of her, as well. That tief Columbus even acknowledged parts of this story which was thought to be fiction.
We have power, always had it....we have allowed ourselves to remain "ignant" and blinded. These mfers out here building generational wealth off of OUR stories, while we are expected to just be lifers in this rat race.

I’m from and live in Sacramento,ca .. my grandparents were panther members and my grandpa told me about her when I was young. When I was in 6th grade , we went on a field trip to the state capital.. I BELIEVE at the verrrry top level the dome thing on top of the building is painted with her portrait. Or there’s a HUGE painting of her on the wall i can’t 100% remember where at but I know that she’s on the top floor ! And I found it interesting because there weren’t really ANY paintings of black people anywhere && to see that AMAZED me ✨ They have her as the QUEEN 👑 from what I was told , she ruled California for yeaaaars before the Spanish came . The Spanish found out about gold being there , came and raided the lands and killed off the black people . Destroyed the lands and converted everything to Catholicism, that’s why they built the missions up the coastline.. We know who was REALLY here first and they disguise our history in movies 😤 thank you I want more on her !

Black Americans have cursed themselves with lies and delusions. You cannot appropriate another group of people's identity because of your own inferiority complex. You're cursing their ancestors who suffered greatly and ours who suffered by being forced here. But it's too late, this time, the curse is unbreakable and will render black Americans forever useless and at the bottom. So I say this to you and yours.....the curse is with you now and forever! LadyMsThing Green yes. The Amazons were inspired by Dahomey women. They were known for their gentleness amongst their people but would switch to be the most ruthless warriors hence why the king chose women instead of men. They put the DC Amazonians on an island near Greece without men sound familiar? The army was female only and were known to be one of if not the strongest in the world. Their jobs were also to free as many people who were going to be shipped tot Europe or America for slavery. The number of potential slaves they saved is unknown but according to some they may have saved as many as 100,000 people from being trafficked.

@smutton well nobody can be 100% certain because history pre colonialism let's say is somewhat distorted. I'd say the Spaniards accounts based on ancient mythology are likely to stem from historical truths. Taking into account Dahomey warriors and Strong African Warrior Queens like Queen Nzinga or Queen Amanariness or other Kandake. It may well be an amalgamation of all the above.

I'm from California. I remember when California Adventureland first opened. It's right next door to Disneyland, so most people visit both.
I remember a lot of people being shocked and confused as to why Disney had Whoopie Goldberg narrating, being the voice of California in the theater show. I remember Disney got some backlash because of it, too. People said that part of the show should be changed because Californian history had no ties to Black women. Then when more news came out that California was actually named after a Black woman and that's why Disney had Whoopie narrate their historical theater show, those racist folks looked stupid. Lol!
But I was surprised that California Adventureland kept the theater open and Whoopie's narration. Because of the boldness of California Adventureland, so many people, including Californians, learned about California being named after a Black woman, Khalifia.

I live in the Bay Area and I believe this story regarding the State of California. At some point, each and everyone of us must sit down in solitude and ask ourselves the following questions:
Why is it that when it comes to so-called African Americans, our history is buried in myths, secrecy, half truths and legends??
There isn't another people on the planet as great as us. It is common knowledge that in order to destroy a people, you MUST destroy their history first.
Also, think about all of the inventions that came about because of so-called African Americans. You don't hear about a plethora of inventions coming to fruition by way of the Russians or Germans or French or Swedes or the British. THINK ABOUT IT!
After you've done this, you should come to the conclusion that the entire world moves and is ran on the energy of the mind of the fluidity of the so-called African Americans.
All of our history is already WRITTEN in the BIBLE! Yes, we are so great, it's even WRITTEN in the greatest BOOK of all time!

Years ago I warned black Americans about having all these out of wedlock births and men abandoning their children. It was a curse that would bring forth psychopaths, violence, murder, disease, mental illness etc. But black folks don't like to listen. The reaction back then is the same that you and all the others have. Now look at where we are.
This new curse brought on by people like you will be even more fatal and more personal. There were no Indigenous Sub Saharan Africans in the Americas. Our ancestors were brought here from Africa by force. You can study science to confirm this. But you and all the others are cursed. Your spirit is corrupted.
