I met Ray Novack 3 years ago (2021) at Huntsville AL Hamfest. I had heard from my Elmer what help he had been to troops deployed all over the world and had immediate respect for him. Then I got an Icom and fell in love with it. My IC-9700. Well, it didn't take long and I had an IC-7300 and an IC-705. I love my Icome radios and highly suggest them to everyone I know. So this video comes with a lot of respect and admiration for the Icom brand and Ray's generous nature. Icom really great devices, but what makes me very angry is that after a short time spare parts are no longer available, I have a 756 Pro 3 and yes, the display lighting is defective, the unit assembly is no longer available, sorry, or current devices, there are no more, including others Manufacturer the same! You can't buy a new device every three years, which sometimes costs €5600, sorry!
