Great to be back Neil. Thanks for having me, the car was great fun 👊🏻
Good to have you back.
Got the old band back together 😂 good to see Gary back, like the old days 👍
Nice to see you together again
Please bear in mind that the stock oiling system of the M97 engines is not suitable for high g forces.
Especially not with sticky tires.
Would recommend to at least install a larger baffled oil sump
I totally agree.
Nice the team is back. The clio series was soo good, loved the quantitative testing too. loking forward to what you do going in this series
You guys should do more videos together great content 👌
Great to you and Gary back, he's a cheeky chappy. 5 seconds a lap quicker is excellent.
Using the Boxster as it should be used - perfect!
Seat wise, you can pick up a set of sports seats for about £2k, not cheap! My temptation is to try and go OE+ but at those prices that may be unachievable given a set of Cobra/Recaro seats are likely half that at the most.
I was thoroughly impressed with how well my stock (with a few OE+ mods) '06 Boxster S went round the Nürburgring with only road PS4 tyres on. Clocked over 130mph and it felt stable as you like. Proper good car and not once did it flag any issues over the 1000 miles we drove there and back. It's a keeper.
You should team up more often 😀
Great video! Really enjoyed that! Makes me feel like tracking my 986!
This is nice! Thanks
Nice video. There's a nice pair of Porsche OEM carbon bucket seats for sale on Rennlist at the moment, just $16,000🤣🤣
Surely the camera is cheating it a bit, but it seemed like you were taking it super safe haha
If you are putting slicks on the Boxster/Caymans you really need a deep oil pan with baffles otherwise you can get oil starvation in the engine.
Nice video! Neil, it looks like you are too far away from the steering wheel (or the other way hahaha), if you compare with Gary footage he is not even close to have the arm completely straight at any point but for you is not the same, it will facilitate you driving but also is a safety concern! great videos, will keep supporting you, even more now that you are looking for CZcams as a way of living, best of luck!
Mega vid again 👊
Were the track wheels lighter than the road wheels ? if yes what was the difference ?
Great video, did you use the dash stopwatch?
Thanks. No, it’s a bit clunky to use.
Don't go to track focused on the videos, I really enjoy the garage ones more Neil.
Hello, what track?
I believe Bedford was mentioned.
