Hi everybody, this is Milky. Today, I will share with you my gameplay on the very special game that I loved ever since I was young, Harvest Moon Friends Of Mineral Town remake for switch. I can't tell how happy I am to play this game. This is the first Harvest Moon game I played and the first ever handheld console game I played. I spent so many hours on this game, and it brings back a lot of happy memories. The remake is just released today, unfortunately, the English version is not released yet. But, I got the Chinese version, and I will translate it and share the gameplay with you. So let's get started and relive our happy memories together!

Hi Milky! I tried selling Van's favorite to Huang even though I hadn't reached full hearts on his relationship with him and I was still able to sell it to him for 57,000g by repeatedly asking him until I reached that amount! Same goes with the golden lumber. But thanks for this video, still! 💖
Nice! It works! Thanks a lot! As long as you do 10 individual purchases (buy 10 items exiting the whole buying menu each time) you'll get Van's favorite every day. You engage with the seller npc, you buy 1 item, you press B until you're not talking to him/her anymore and then repeat till you buy 10 items. ALSO, selling, say, an animal counts as 1 transaction.
Does this work on ps4 too?
@@hanayume86 If it’s the same game, it’s supposed to be programmed the same way. It’s just the platform that changes. It should work. Save your progress first and try it.

I think she means that you have to buy the 10 items separately. Approach the counter, buy one item, leave the counter area, then approach the counter, buy another item, etc., 10 times. I think that's what she means.
I saw that you can give it to Van for remote control (buy for 10 mil). Then you can sell it to Huang for 50 million. Doing that 4 times will net you 160 million in 4 days.
Doesn't work anymore, TV remote control now only sells for 5m rather than 50m like before.

I always wonder how people find out about the trick or a bug in any particular game. I learn that they were hack into the game code and read it. I think you can hack into the game code and see how you can get Van item or how many purchase count you got. Why don't you try to make a video about how to hack into a game code, so we can figure out how to solve all the secret or any bug in this game. You know like how did you know about this. LOL.

I just wish they let us customize our OWN characters the way we desire, I’ll keep wishing I guess.
Some HMs do, Animal Parade allowed a ton of customization with character and home decor.

hey i have confirmed things recently. About the exact amount of the purchases, it isnt quiet correct. i have checked the exact amount that i should make from by 1 by 1 (which still works) to buy any amount (that you said it counted as 1 item purchasing) to the exact amount of purchasing that i should do and this didnt work, any idea what happen?

But anyone else playing this on the Switch? Because getting Van's Favorite every day was working consistently about two (real life) nights ago, before never getting any more no matter what I do. I got up to 4 before selling them, and wanted to resume; however, it wasn't until this afternoon I finally got one again in the mail.
So, naturally, I thought the counter was reset for me to keep track again, yet it's back to not giving me any more, no matter the proper shop/transactions. Anyone else having issues via the Switch with this? I did hear of a few hiccups for the Steam version for a few people, though I don't know if that was fixed or anything, since I don't have that version, myself.

I'm playing on the switch and I have no problems with it whatsoever. I don't know how many I've received/sold, but it's way more than 4. You just have to keep in mind the things that do and don't count as purchases. I tend to grt muddled and lose track of my numbers when I've been upgrading tools or wrapping presents (both of which count).
I haven't been able to get it to work on the US Switch version, either. If it helps I'm on version 1.0.1. I think I'm going to give up on trying on this in - game day and see if I have better luck another time.
Edit: I tried the next non-festival day and was able to get it to work!

It still works. You need to buy items in order. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. No skipping numbers, hope this helps.

So when you reset to 10 and get the Van’s favorite item from the goddess…does that mean you can only buy 10 purchases each day to continue to get the vans item each day? Can you go over 10? Or if you go over that means you have to do the reset thing again?

Yep, buying from Huang counts, but selling to him does not. Lol, it's a bit tricky😊

Yeah, same (on Switch). Got about 4 a few nights ago, sold them, then ever since it wouldn't work. Finally got one this afternoon, but once again, it won't work anymore.
Hmm, yep, it works for me daily. Sometimes if you lost track of the counter, you can buy one item and then got to sleep until you saw van's favorite item again

Remember, stuff like the house upgrade, tool upgrade, and such count aa purchases
Just ALWAYS keep track how many purchases you do a day, to not get it out of sync again after your first try on getting the value to 10

Hi Tommy!! Sure, I'm happy to help. Yep, you will need to unlock Van first. You can unlock him by gifting the goddess daily. I have a tips video for all the things you can unlock by gifting the goddess and how many gifts it takes. Hopefully this helps!😊💖
Hi Milky, I remember you bought the chicken costume. I understand it is a DLC bought from eShop. Is true that the country where you bought the DLC must match the game country for example USA version must use USA eShop DLC?
Hmm, I did brought both the DLC and the game from USA so it worked for me, but sorry, I'm not sure whether this DLC would work if the country doesn't match😭 I hope it will still work.

Small tip is house upgrade or buying furnitures also counts as buying items. So if you did a house upgrade, you can only buy 9 items for that day😊

Is the harvest goddess game still a thing day 1 and is the 70th win streak still a treasure chest that can be sold for 10k each? If so wouldn't that be farmable if you can abuse the RNG of high and low lol

you have to unlock him by gifting the goddess 30 days, then he will visit your farm after that you can find him at the in 2nd floor.

I got it, follow her method until you get it, but i think they patched it so its different every time but im going to test out this theory later tonight. I’ll let you know how it turns out!

I was able to get van’s favorite item before unlocking Van so you shouldn’t need to unlock Van first 😊

They have to be exactly 10 transactions. No more, no less. Otherwise you wont get it. Upgrading house/tools also count as transactions

Milky so this was working for me for like three day than it stop, does it count against you if you already buy 10 items than buy one more? I brought 10 wheat flours than a bottle of oil and the next day I didn’t get Van’s favorite in the mail.
Yep, it will counts, you need to keep the number of total buys multiple of 10 when the day ends😊 So if you buy 10 and then buy 1, it's not multiple of them anymore and then don't be able to get Van't favorite item next day

I confirmed this method still working, just increase the number of the bought item by one item, every time the mail did not show up, this happened because every transaction on the different shop was counted, so this method really needs you to do 10 transactions per day, the shop location doesn't matter as long as it was a purchasing transaction (buying lumber, upgrade house, tools, .etc) SELLING ITEMS WILL NOT INCREASE THE COUNTER !!
if you do more or less it would not trigger, I currently play on the official release game on steam..

What do u mean with 10 in every shop? Like buy 10 item from Jeff, 10 from Huang, 10 from zack and like that on every shop?
@@principecrow6625 nah, it accumulated so you can buy 3 from jeff, 2 from Huang, 5 from mugi something like that, but you need to make sure it was 10 transactions

@@LauraCakes100 you can, that's how you find the hidden counter number you have.. if you already know your counter number, you can do the transaction in other stores not only in one store as long as the total transaction is 10
the counter is always 10 so if you miss it, just increase it by 1 for each transactions and it will be 10 again to pop up the mail.. ty for info dude

Yep, it counts as one buy so need to be careful with it. If you buy materials from Gotts, then you can only buy 9 more times💖😊
So lemme get this straight it has to be EXACTLY 10 transactions? No more? Like it will NOT work with 11 transactions? It hasn't been working for me :(
The transactions need to be exactly multiple of 10 when you sleep, so yep, it will definitely not work with 11 transactions😊

I tried doing this trick and it didn't work. Either Nintendo patched this trick out or I'm not doing it right. I purchased one item, exited the menu, and purchased another item. I did it 12 times and Van's favorite never showed up.

Tried the first intructions. I buy 1 then go home and sleep. Tried until 7 then I finally got the item. Tried it 7 times again on another shop and it’s not working.
After you got the item, you want to start buying item 10 items per day😊

after u got the item, the next day u want to do is always buy 10/day, the reason u have to load and try to get the item is because u want to reset the count to 0, so u can buy 10/day without reload the save file. hope this is help :>

Hi Angel☺️Huang is usually a bit harder to become friend because he mostly like expensive items. My tip is go down to the mine in early game and give him gold ore daily, he loves it and you can befriend him very fast 💖hopefully this helps!
