this trick works on both pc or switch, (only when you starting the game: 2nd spring) and dont forget to upgrade and empty your inventory before the horse race.
I made the test, for anyone wondering why you not getting the bottle, you need to interact with 10 vendors per day but not exactly the same vendor. You can interact with any but the final count must be 10. It only applies for those NPC that actually sells something thought, you can work on your farm and interact with non vendor NPCs normally!
My update. Followed this entire guide, everything worked for me but the only thing I messed up was that I didnt upgraded my backpack before going for the horse race day, is not in the video but upgrade your backpacks before you try the horse race. Everything else worked perfectly. I am playing on switch by the way.

horse racing happens twice, spring and fall, funny thing i didn't have a whole lot of funds going into spring, enough to get the little one time trinkets and a few starter dresses to get the ball rolling on the game. The fall time came up on me, and by that time i had more than enough gold to not worry about, to test the waters i just randomly bet the maximum amount of times on a x38 horse race the first time around. (in spring i tended to skip the first round because the payout wasn't enough to get me anything so i watched it a few times to see if their was a pattern i could derive (i couldn't)). so my random 9999 medal bet on an x38 ended up winning. cost me some money i overspent, but i decided to see what could be bought, bought 216 dresses the max and made back 2.5million gold, with a little less than half of the medals still remaining for spring time. Next time i will calculate what i need to win to not waste soo much though xD.
I found van's favourite purely by chance, looked it up and turns out it can be exploited. Now i'm starting a new game since i lost motivation right after the horce race hahahha.
You can after the first year and to make it easier bet on your own horse after entering him (40x medal rate) but there is a medal cap tho so don't bother betting more then what would earn you 100.000 medals
Mine have more than 2.500k gold in 2nd year, the leftover Medals will used again for Fall Derby, Exchange again for dress & will obtaining another 2.500k again (I will use same way in My Switch)

You may also need to charge your tool by holding down on the y button! It will still take a couple hits. If you examine the stump/rock it will also tell you what level you need to use!
How do I even have enough stamina to make it to the 10th floor of the mine? I lose all of it after the 5th floor. What things can I eat to replenish my stamina at the beginning of the game?

Just one item count as one transaction (you don't need to buy 99 item at once). But save the game first before you buy anything. If you don't get van favorite on the next day, just reload it. no, if u messed up the counter u can use save and load trick to try and error, buy 1 times and sleep, check mailbox. if there isnt van favorite load the game buy 2 times try until 9 transaction
you got it on the 10th transaction, 20th, 30th , ... must be multiple of 10, not more or less if you didnt get it again , that means you accidentally make another transaction (like upgrading selling or buying from other store) or you miscalculated the transaction count

Brooch/Necklace might cost only 1800 G, but the medal cost is lower so the rate is higher Dress : 250 medal = 11800G - 12700G so 1 medal = 47.2G - 50.8G Necklace : 20 medal = 1800 G so 1 medal = 90G Brooch : 18 medal = 1800G so 1 medal = 100G Brooch is far superior. Two times higher than Dress. The problem is, if you have too much medal to trade, there will never be enough inventory to carry all Brooch or Necklace
Van's favorite is a gift you get from the harvest goddess when you do a certain amount of things. He was buying stuff from the stores and got rewards for them.
@@brunobatistacabral You have to save and buy items with 1 increments (Commit 1 transaction then go to sleep and check if you received it, if not, reload save, commit 2 transactions, then 3, all the way to 9) until you get the item, then once you did, you'll keep receiving it every 10 transactions (once a day).
You need to buy 10 different items at the shop all separately and then the next week you receive “Vans favorite” you can sell it to Huang for up to $59,000G you can do this once a week. To unlock the ability to sell to him you need friendship points with him (hence the gifts). Then at the horse races, If your inventory is cleared out you can maximize your betting strategy to get lots of medals and trade them for dresses which can be sold to huang individually for high dollar as well (this process can be pretty annoying though). I know this was two years ago but that’s what’s going on 😅

@@YanamonYT noo there's a formula for it for you to always get it right. You just have to know the last 2 position changes, then remember the original positions of the 3 apples, then you can know the final order by just matching in the table or formula that I was saying.
I think it only takes 5min per game, so after about an hour or less, you can finally have 1M, the advantage is that you don't have to wait for the festival, you can play it whenever you like to claim your 1M

Actually, Melvs D is right. Brooch/Necklace might cost only 1800 G, but the medal cost is lower so the rate is higher
Dress : 250 medal = 11800G - 12700G so 1 medal = 47.2G - 50.8G
Necklace : 20 medal = 1800 G so 1 medal = 90G
Brooch : 18 medal = 1800G so 1 medal = 100G
Brooch is far superior. Two times higher than Dress.
The problem is, if you have too much medal to trade, there will never be enough inventory to carry all Brooch or Necklace

Van's favorite is a gift you get from the harvest goddess when you do a certain amount of things. He was buying stuff from the stores and got rewards for them.
Buy a stuff 10 times from store then you get van favorite which is a lot of money if you sell to huang. You can get van favorite every day

@@brunobatistacabral You have to save and buy items with 1 increments (Commit 1 transaction then go to sleep and check if you received it, if not, reload save, commit 2 transactions, then 3, all the way to 9) until you get the item, then once you did, you'll keep receiving it every 10 transactions (once a day).

You need to buy 10 different items at the shop all separately and then the next week you receive “Vans favorite” you can sell it to Huang for up to $59,000G you can do this once a week. To unlock the ability to sell to him you need friendship points with him (hence the gifts). Then at the horse races, If your inventory is cleared out you can maximize your betting strategy to get lots of medals and trade them for dresses which can be sold to huang individually for high dollar as well (this process can be pretty annoying though). I know this was two years ago but that’s what’s going on 😅

2. after that you can use the trick on this video (10x transaction per day) now you can get 1 van favorite per day..
3. if you lose/forget your transaction count, you have to repeat to first step which making 1 transaction per day

The next day I just did the same thing but I did 10 wheat flower a day or feed and a gift to huang and the last 2 days no drink? I go straight to bed after

@@shippernessity ah i just remember that things, hmm maybe depends, you can just compared both tricks. i think apple huang game needs more effort to do, like setting up some trick to always guess the right apple
@@YanamonYT noo there's a formula for it for you to always get it right. You just have to know the last 2 position changes, then remember the original positions of the 3 apples, then you can know the final order by just matching in the table or formula that I was saying.
I think it only takes 5min per game, so after about an hour or less, you can finally have 1M, the advantage is that you don't have to wait for the festival, you can play it whenever you like to claim your 1M
