All they had to do was say the daughter was a new villian and have taskmaster just be paid by the bad dude, but nope they decided to butcher the character by removing his natural skill instead saying yet another person needs tech to be skilled, and removing the cold killer for hire attitude and making it a person who wants revenge

My girlfriend and I did a Conjuring universe movie night for Halloween and after we watched the latest one, I brought it up not even a couple days later that we still had 1 more to go. Absolutely forgettable and the two main characters are barely in the damn movie!
The thing with Black Widow is they had a great opportunity to make a really dark spy movie featuring Natasha. But Marvel blew it with the typical save the world plot, it had a good beginning but it really lost all its steam in the middle.
It also doesn't help that by the time we got this movie, Natasha is already dead. So the empathy Marvel/Disney tried to build up for her just didn't really get across.

It personally wasn't bad in my opinion. On the other hand, I'm no matrix avid fan but I did watch the trilogy days before Resurrections came out. I think they did a great job with it, but the referencing of itself in the movie was kind of cringe. It's not as action packed as the trilogy, but it's not too bland either. More of a psychological action movie. Would still recommend.

I can't be the only one who thinks Halloween kills wasn't that bad, it wasn't good from a story point but it branched out into the supernatural aspect of Michael with him no longer being human and transforming into the embodiment of evil.

I’m a huge pussy when it comes to horror movies and The Devil Made Me Do It didn’t scare me a single time. It was a let down cause I wanted to face my fears and watch through a scary movie without pussying out and walking out of the room. I almost did though cause it was so awful and boring.
I was pretty excited for The Conjuring. I'm typically a fan, the first two are great.. typical, but they kind of set the bar for the rest of the genre. I thought the third was ok initially, not really on par with the others and pretty cheesy, but now that you mention it I'm realizing you're right. I haven't thought about it at all since I finished it. Not once. Would never have thought about it again unless I watched this. And now I'm struggling to remember the plot points. It just, yeah.

Plus at the end of revolutions Neo reset the matrix so they got rid of the green effect. I wish they just made up some new lore like “every time the matrix gets deja vu’d by the architect/analyst it becomes more green” since it was so integral to the overall visual style, but what’s done is done.
They literally say in the movie "warner bros are gonna make this with or without you". If anything, this was quite literally a cry for help or suicide by shitty movie to kill the franchise

My friends and I made a drinking game out of the conjuring. Anytime Ed said "Loraine" or Loraine said "Ed" we took a drink. We got fucked. I agree, worst movie of last year. Wasn't even good cause we had to make a game out of it to stay someone attentive to the movie
I will say that I watched The Conjuring 3 on a 2 hour flight and it felt like I was just teleported to my destination.

I like how Matrix Resurrections is #5 and Charlie spends 10 minutes on how much he absolutely despises it and then Halloween Kills is #4 and Charlie spends 10 minutes gushing about how fun the movie was. If he ever does a top 10 worst list, the entire video should be him aggressively railing on the #10 spot and then progressively getting lighter until the #1 spot where he has nothing but praise

I can't be the only one who thinks Halloween kills wasn't that bad, it wasn't good from a story point but it branched out into the supernatural aspect of Michael with him no longer being human and transforming into the embodiment of evil.
I literally had so much fun watching it. I get the movie’s goofy and over the top, but I think that’s why I like it so much.
I liked it also. After the first Halloween, I'm mainly there for the legendary screen prescence of Michael Myers.
How does that make the actual film any better. It was bad. For me it was so bad it was boring. Because it was just dumb and felt very unclever. I've seen many films that do the same thing but better.

It's enjoyable, but poorly executed, characters are awfully stupid and really bad writing, but the kills and the soundtrack are amazing, these two elements alone make the movie be a 5/10 for me

I've seen the newest conjuring and completely forgot it existed until you brought it up. Then after skimming the wiki I had to go rewatch the trailer because I still couldn't remember what it's about. Now that I've watched the trailer I still don't remember how it ends. I feel like every movie James Wan makes gets a little bit worse than the last.
I’m a huge pussy when it comes to horror movies and The Devil Made Me Do It didn’t scare me a single time. It was a let down cause I wanted to face my fears and watch through a scary movie without pussying out and walking out of the room. I almost did though cause it was so awful and boring.

I was pretty excited for The Conjuring. I'm typically a fan, the first two are great.. typical, but they kind of set the bar for the rest of the genre. I thought the third was ok initially, not really on par with the others and pretty cheesy, but now that you mention it I'm realizing you're right. I haven't thought about it at all since I finished it. Not once. Would never have thought about it again unless I watched this. And now I'm struggling to remember the plot points. It just, yeah.
Conjuring was such a massive letdown to me, the first two are damn near excellent horror movies but the devil made me do it felt like it was a story written by an elementary school child

I wish they just made up some new lore like “every time the matrix gets deja vu’d by the architect/analyst it becomes more green” since it was so integral to the overall visual style, but what’s done is done.
They literally say in the movie "warner bros are gonna make this with or without you". If anything, this was quite literally a cry for help or suicide by shitty movie to kill the franchise
