This is 5 reason to become Data Analyst video for me
After watching this video I have to say I feel even more motivated and excited to developing the skills for this field. It looks like it might be the change I'm looking for which can lead to the other experiences of work that data analytics can act as a springboard.
Thank you for this video!! I am a cost analyst and there is some overlap in the "struggles" with the job. I've wondered if I would like data analysis more. This gives me some important points to consider.
Glad it was helpful!
Agree, i've completed two data analysis courses it feels good but once i started doing my first project i got hit by reality, i thought if this is hard i wonder how hard it'll be once i get a job, but once you complete that first project no matter how awful that project looks it feels sensational and the second project will be much better. Another downside is when doing a personal project it's easy to find the right dataset but in a real job nobody knows where is the data 😂.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
But is not getting data job of a datascienctist instead ?
Where i can learn data analysis freely ?
@@rghgd
Coursera
😂😂😂
You can find a video on why not to and why to do anything.
what would be a good alternative if i want something similar to what you mentioned at 1:50, i’ve been interested in data analytics for a while but the entire communication process has been daunting
I’m still trying to find out what I love to do (in terms of profession) data analytics is a skill I’ve always wanted to add to my arsenal of skill I might end up loving it if I try it out and learn
I love go study and work on digital marketing and want to be in management role and currently pursuing data analytics course. What should be right career role for me?
In every job bro u need communication the more the better u can understand taking feedbacks
Thank you for the explanation. I've become more motivated! I love data and picturing them in numbers and chart as I've been doing the similar data (in excel) and attitude in my current job.
I think the big downside for me is how competitive the job is.
I'm looking forward to learning the programming languages and learn others roadmap to becoming data analyst.
Once again, thanks for the honest video.
I work as a CNC machinist. My trade is dying fast. The trade doesnt pay as well anymore since they can pick up people off the street and teach them how to run the machine.
I see manual machinist jobs where I live all the time for 30-35 an hour
Can you talk in another video about the difference between data analysis and data analytics, many people confuse them and so do I, so please compare them, thanks brother
Absolutely. I even use the wrong word often too. But as a quick answer: data analytics is a more general term for the field, whereas data analysis is the actual thing you perform using the data
@@learnwithlukas Yes, this is the general difference between them, but what are the detailed differences between them, what are the techniques and tools used for both of them, is the way of working different between each of them?
I know that these questions need a separate video that explains the difference accurately, I would like to thank you and I hope that you will make a video soon, greetings
@@bilalalezzoI think you're confusing the two, there is no difference they are the same thing. Data Analyst is the title of the job. Data Analytics is the actual job description/field.
Thanks for posting! Did you have any data analysis boot camp to recommend for someone with very little background?
Try out online courses to see if you're really sure about it. Boot camps can be helpful, but they are expensive and it's easy to fall into their trap thinking that it's the only way to succeed.
For an affordable boot camp: czcams.com/video/2QdSjzXG8w4/video.html
For a top tier boot camp, but expensive: czcams.com/video/nYtsxiW8v0c/video.html
I like your logic and how your explain things! Thank you for your video!
Glad it was helpful!
Biggest negative is that it’s hard to differentiate your resume. The best people are very smart, not always the best coders. And now everyone says they know every program on their resume
Agree thats why I think its best to be a business owner not an employee theres less competition
yeah people always do that. They put whatever they are skilled and unskilled on there. Even whatever they learned in college but haven't used they put like 6 scripting language. -.- Come on, we all got 1 or 2 we are really skilled and the rest are all "we have some knowledge but won't be about to script without referencing google a bit"
@@slimjimjimslim5923 it be great if there was a coding license 🪪
what roles would you recommend for those who like solo more technical roles? i don’t mind communication but long meetings don’t exactly interest me
software developer
@@roshini7369 anything else?
Would you need a bachelors degree or would a certification in data analytics be enough to land a job, ive heard conflicting information?
It depends on the company. It's easier with a relevant bachelor's but everyone does not have it.
What job for those who wanna learn until they land a job after that they want to relax (i mean little bit learning is okay but consecutive stress of updating ourselves is bit too much for me)
So then what jobs are good for someone who doesn’t want to communicate much with stakeholders and enjoy the technical stuff more?
Same question
Try Data Engineering instead. This is a more technical and behind the scenes type of role.
@@sadephillips9645 I would not really call DE having minor communication. Though yes it might be less than DA, my experience as a DE is that you will still have to communicate with your client/stakeholder and absolutely understand how their business model works and how your data system fills in the gap, and also communicate with both data source people like SW and consumers like DA/DS. Although admittedly those things might be delegated to the more experienced DE person and not entry level.
Very informative video! Is there any tech job where you don't have to deal with alot of people, where you can work more independently?
Thank you!
What about business analysis?
Very informative video.
Glad it was helpful!
I ve done masters in agriculture planning to take data analytics with core python will this be a good career path for me?
Yes I've done my bachelor's degree in Agricultue and did data analytics course it's really good decision
This really boost up my spirit to become a data analyst
Can't you combine continously learning new skills while on the job?
Of course
What about Math?.. Do I have to be that good in Math in order to be a data analyst?
Yes, especially statistics
no, u can be braindead and still work as a data analyst
Which level of English should i have to work as a data analyst?
at least B1 I assume
2:57 Why is he pretending to type?
Thanks
Please if I take introduction to CS50 course offered by harverd and IBM Data analysis And Data Engineering Courses is will be enough to apply for junior Data Engineer
😂😂😂 buddy there is no way you’re that naive , none of that shows you have the skills, all you’re telling me is you understand a branch of Data Science
@@unclejunebug7178 but basics of data engineering is the same of data science and analyst or am I wrong
@@redouaneikro7445Data engineering requires considerable technical skills and certifications beyond what those courses provide. Do your research thoroughly before committing yourself or spending money.
bro wtf
there are no entry level data engineering roles. data engineering is king in it you must be technical as hell put in the time and effort it requires and stop looking for shortcuts like that
I doubt you can be a successful data engineer with less than 5 years of experience in the data field.
Start as a Data Analyst… and work your way up
Data analysts are for people without any background and skills in math and statistics. Anyone on the subway could work as a data analysts. Even kids can get the job done. This is why I have this job. Its soul crushing! If u have a brain, then go for a data scientist or higher position instead!
How much is your salary?
S Engineering degree in computer science with post graduate certification vourse on data science enough to get a job masters degree in Data science is required?
Thanks for video.
This job is absolutely not for me. I prefer solo_job digging(or/and cleaning) into data and maybe a lil'bit creating reports.
Basically, I prefer a "technical side" of job like: Excel+SQL(Python)+Tableau… and that's all.
I do not want to talk(have meetings) with stakeholders or do presentations. But looks at this job you 75% talking and 25% doing.
If entry-salary for this job would be 200k+ - then ok, long meetings are fun, presentations too..lol. Then maybe I could've try. Haha.
Agreed
What about software tester??
Started studying QA before Data anaytics. I would say testing is easier to get into but automation is where the money is and that is very technical
@@vaguelyAshis qa automation more technical than data analysis
It’s just that I’m looking for a programming job as it’s what I enjoy doing, I don’t need A LOT money really, I just want something like a basic python programming job to do remote but i don’t know what options I have I only see software developer, machine learning, data analyst and I can easily know off software developer currently and leave that for later due to the difficulty and I would rather go to an ACTUAL code camp for that. Machine learning and data analyst is what I’m split on I already know the basics of python and would be willing to learn more. Im looking at both of these at free code camp. Already halfway through the data analysis (in one day) of that (literally just easy CZcams videos lol)
Im working on a degree in programming and data analytics and aiming on getting my masters in data science. I don’t think any of them would be easy, if you want to be truly proficient and you will need to constantly be learning for the rest of your career in what ever path you choose.
They have scammed you lol
Web development or data analytics sir?
Both are good fields but very different
Can't compare
I saw no downsides 😊
He skimmed over one MAJOR downside, that data analysts are not regraded as "tech," and consequently are not paid as well as data engineers and other less customer-facing people in any organisation. Their salaries peak at about a half of what the others can make. Consequently people tend not to stay in data analysis for very long. Whereas the people WITHOUT communication skills who sit and code on their own make twice as much.
It is stressful to you so ,you are assuming that it will be stressful to others...
You dont need a technical background thats untrue
no u dont need a technical background at all. U dont even need any education
Yeah, do not become anyone, die in hunger and alone...lol.
Is AI going to take this job?
ai is going to take over web development ie full stack development
@Soso-ou2mz No
@@U2_yT17lund le le
@@U2_yT17so is it going to take over?
@@shahul8222 yes, it will take over every job and become our mothers lol
Thank you, it's not for me.
Lol
You left out the main reason, because someone’s a 🐱and let’s people ON THE INTERNET talk them out of sheeeit they want to do lol
Data Analysis will be replaced by AI pretty quick.
Data analysts will be replaced by data analysts who know how to use AI pretty quick*
Accountants are now "replaced " excel spreadsheets.
This what I learn as mathematic graduation. AI is actually one of Mathematic subject because it need high analyze to made an AI, and analyze/ solving problem is mathematic specialize, that's why for what I see the background of data analyst requirement is one of them is atleast math bachelors degree. why having an AI if you can have the one who made AI?
Yes, Ai can do much. But you as person still need having the right mindset. Taking some blind output from Ai isnt smart. Sure, Ai can do very much. But we as human still need to think and confirming the the output of Ai.
