I love Lilac wine! Especially this version. Though in the verse it seems that Mich and Michael are not really in tune with Jeff's improvisation but on 36.26 i have got goosebumps every time i listen this song. I will not be mistaken if i say - every cover Jeff made was better than the original... Lilac wine is not the exception (with all the respect to Nina Simone).
Definitely one my faves off Grace:)Nina Simone did it,but I heard the Elkie Brook's version when I was a kid @1978-I'd imagine Jeff did too if he wasn't listening to Rush or Zeppelin:)
