The carbon tax isnât just affecting a road trip but the transportation of all the goods we buy. The farmerâs extra costs are pass downed, the transport trucks transporting to the warehouse and then to the distributor. The consumers pay for this and it isnât just the carbon tax but also the tax on top of the carbon tax. It is just a money grab. If it wasnât, the government would be tracking the effect the tax is having on the environment.
Not only that but why has our Prime Minister decided that Canadians should pay for what is clearly a GLOBAL issue! Canada's contribution to global GHG emissions is at 1.5% GLOBALY!
This price on carbon that the Prime Minister so proudly defends is nothing more than a money grab to fund his very expensive deficit spending plan. All at the expense of Canadians who can least afford to participate.
