Meaning you dont need a gas refeed line and a fuel pressure regulator?
Love how this guy is happy with his build, nothing really better than seeing hardwork pay off!
Vince De Leon it was a really fun build. Jordan gets excited when he drives cars, lol.
Right!!
Jesus loves you
That power steering sure is loud
Coyote Chris 🤣😂🤣 that’s what Greg and I said.
I would try a little Lucas power steering treatment.
Just burst out loud into laughter. Thank you.
Haha nice one
@@michaelwooda9444 Lucas power steering fix will do a lot of damage to a Honda. You only use those products on American cars.
What I love most is the fact that he’s doing this with his son. Major props to u dude. I love that!
Thanks
@@HiRevzMedia of course bro. I’d love to have somebody to learn from. Unfortunately, I’m on my own when it comes to learning how to fix shit. Been that way for years man.
This is awesome I've only read about people trying this but you actually did it! Cool to watch
Yea, same here. I had seen a lot of people talking, but couldn’t find a video where anyone had tried it.
Hey dude I just wanna say thanks alot for posting this video.. ive had the same exact amr-500 supercharger saved on my Amazon forever and I've been meaning to look up reviews and this helped answer alot of my questions..
Thanks man!
Check out the other videos of it. We are giving this one away at 5000 subs.
Sounds like a ford truck power steering pump. Lol. But AWESOME job. Now intercooler and tune! Also BOOST gauge!
My favorite video ever! I love your channel! Thanks for an awesome video!
Bobby B thank you for those kind words!
This is hilarious!! Now I want to pick one up to play with, even have a vehicle I can slap one into as well. 👍
Great video, I have been waiting so long to see a video of an amr500 in a Honda.
Me too man, that’s why I decided just to spend a little money and just try it.
All points for creativity, and it looks like you made this car lots more fun. Although it is totally certain that you've made it slower; the experience and fun you had along the way is what matters.
So what are you saying is that it has more torque but the top end fell off?
Solid build , first time tuning in and we enjoy the content
Cre8tiveGarage thanks man
Keep the heat coming , we have two miatas we are building .. hope we can support each other 🥂
Cre8tiveGarage I just subbed you bud
Appreciate the support, can’t wait to see more
Love the kid recording and giving feed back
What would y’all think of me doing a giveaway of this AMR500 Supercharger at 5000 subs?
Yes do it!
Yes please will it work for my auto integra ls
why didn't you turn it 90 degrees so the pressure side goes down to an intercooler and the intake is up so you can put a filter on it easily. im genuinely asking? let me know pls. thanks. and remember 1🖕 for the haters.lol.
btw it sounds sick AF. nice honda bro.
bob thompson we considered that too. We mainly did this setup first just to get everything figured out. If it had made good boost we would have made a better mounting bracket and added an intercooler. It just didn’t do enough to justify having it on this motor.
That sounds sick bro. Thinking about doing this on my 01 accent after I throw a new clutch in it
Thanks for the video. I'm considering one of this small superchargers for my '72 Corona build.
Good shit man! I've been going down the SC14/AMR500 for my Civic Wagon. All I'm looking for is some extra down low and from this video, it seems like you noticed a ton down low. Thanks for the video! Got you a new sub too
Dash-n-Cars thanks man, the SC14 is probably the way to go.
@@HiRevzMedia that's my thoughts too. Especially after seeing your experience with the AMR. 👍👍
Glad I found this ., Been planning it out for my Veloster
Thanks for that demo
seriously thinking about getting one for my 92' 1.2L opel corsa... i think it will be a very cool modification
Thinking about that too! My 1.4 swapped corsa would be a lot funnyer with this supercharger!
Most of the boost problems and noise are due to the throttle body being on the output of the supercharger forcing air to nowhere the whole time when not in WOD.
Unlike a Turbo which builds up pressure eventually as the throttle opens, a supercharger already pumps forced air since idle and you should make it NOT doing it by making it vacuuming on a throttle body.
If you move it to the intake side it's going to work seamlessly as now it's working hard like pushing against a wall, quite some experimenting with idling will be needed though.
yes
Nice custom work
Do you plan on getting it tuned? Would be interesting to find out the before and after results
Great video enjoy your car
I've been running these superchargers since 2016. I personally have never bothered with a bov. Nice install though. I use a pulley from a cs130 gm alternator. Grind in a keyway and it fits perfectly on the shaft. I've found at least with my 1.6L engines, 10psi was good for ~150whp at the blowers redline of 16,500rpm.
Pat Mclafferty awesome man
What the largest motor you have put one on? Do you think 3-5psi would be possible with a 1.9 6500rpm red line 124hp stock. Just want to keep stock internals and pick up 25 -50 hp. Or is the motor to large ? Would appreciate any info pat. Thank you
@@manda1869 from what I've read they will support a 2.2L engine as long as you get the 500. There are two different variations. I had it on a 1.6L engine the performance was great. This should give the performance increase you're after.
@@patmclafferty8019 thanks. Yes i also read that. From what i have gathered i think i could get my desired 5psi boost from it driven at its max rpm. On a 1.9L with 6500km red line. I also read the blower was only good for 150hp my engine is suppose to be 125hp stock to the crank so I'm just trying to gather more info from anyone how has worked with them if my goals are possible or not
You could probably get much more than 5 psi if you swap pulleys. I was getting 10psi with an engine that was only 300cc smaller. Usually that 5psi is with the stock pulley. It's probably low enough to be more forgiving on fuel quality and timing though.
Love the video Subscribed
Thank you very much!
Very, very cool garage. 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you sir!
Nice! Still working on mine, I got way too much boost. Flex pipeworks but moves a lot lol
Shawn Combat yea, it definitely needs a BOV and a rib at the end of the pipe to hold it on.
@@HiRevzMedia when i did my escort i did same way and keep blowing off so i ended up using 2 inch exhaust pipe all 1 piece and no more problems . also i used lucus oil and it makes power from idle on !
show demais , parabéns !
This thing would be perfect for a 1.0 liter Insight. It would literally just bolt right on. I think I might try it.
Way different than my Jackson that’s for sure
Love it man.
What pulley did you get and where great video btw thanks!!!
Many lesson here...good job bro

@@matspray6665 Malaysian here, 4g13 supercharged got some more boost? trying to supercharge my 4g15
I just picked up one of the amr500's gonna a put on my daily b18c crv. Have s300 v3, plan to use intercooler and weld charge pipe to fabbed aluminum plate mounts instead of those stock plastic threaded plates. Also use a mac 3 port boost controller and get a blow off valve or a recycle valve/waste gate for pressure releif when throttle let's off.
Only looking for about 6 to 8psi max boost for reliability on daily. I am also going to pick up the 4pk pulley.
Hirev, what are thoughts on this?
If it doesn't work out how I want it will just switch to a turbo and 10booost goal.
Thinking about this for my '86 Toyota Tercel SR5 4x4 Wagon. Stock its 67hp. What (if any) mods to the carb did you need to do? Thanks
Pretty cool. Didnt seem very fast but i know its more fun to drive. Why is it so loud? The BOV? If i did this Id have to make it less noisy
Update Video: czcams.com/video/yrJEoHCncb4/video.html
At RPM did you feel the max boost? I have a 1.8L Hyundai, and shift around 5k rpm.
Wow, I thought my mini cooper had a small supercharger but damn that thing is tiny..
Vale la pena montar el supercargador amr500 en un motor 1.5 LTS. De Toyota? Como el que monta el Yaris y la Avanza? Gracias
Hey cool videos man. I subscribed to your channel. Have you hooked up a boost gauge yet? Any idea how much boost your making
Thanks man. Not yet, we will see, may not be any, LOL.
Hello, I have the same project as yours, but in a Ford Sigma 1.6 liter engine, you are having problems with the oem injection, do you need to reprogram the ECU (remap)? Or can use OEM injection map?
You have any idea around how much boost this would actually put out im sure not much but if you had to guess what like 5-8 or less then that?
Been thinking of doing this to an EJ18 for years. Really cool to see someone else pull the trigger. Fun stuff!
the reason im here right now is im looking into this for my EJ18
i also have an 84 with a ea81 that i may do it to instead...or both
@@beefpickle2450 I think as long as you can find pulleys to overdrive it, you'll probably at least be able to make some solid boost throughout most of the rev range. I think the AMR500 is supposed to be suitable for up to a 1600cc engine, so the EJ18 really isn't that much of a stretch. Apparently they can be revved to 16,000 RPM safely, and I believe that's a fairly constant number, so I imagine peaking past that occasionally wouldn't be a big deal. Basically, if you can figure out the pulley ratio to max out the supercharger RPM when you are hitting red line, then you know you are getting the most out of it you can. The other option would be to strap two AMR500 Right next to each other just to double the output and then you would definitely have enough for boost. There is a ton of room in the engine bay to the passenger side of the engine so I always figured I would stick it there. As long as I could find pulleys to use the same ribbed belt the alternator and power steering already used, it would be easy to just get one the right length. As you can see I put a lot of thought into this haha. Still would like to mess with it someday!
Ive bought one.. But in a dilema to install it or a turbo in my Toyota Vitz 1NZFE engine.. Stock 110hp.. Would it make much difference?
The same pump is used in sewage treatment aeration. Wondering if the collar mounts are restricting the flow? IE: Remove the factory collar mounts and install (maybe have to 3d print or fabricate) new mounts that match the intake size...
You should find a way to reverse the intake manifold for a shorter path from the supercharger! Fewer clamps? If it’s possible from the space in the bay on that end. 🤷🏻♂️ 😁
Willing to make another set of brackets/rod tensioner and sell it?
A Cvt would probably help make more boost at higher rpm.
You're a genius
Hi I'm thinking about buying one? What was the result? What wer the gains? Did it make any difference?
Is the AMR500 large enough for this size motor? I feel it's definitely on the smaller side? Can you do long distance driving without it overheating?
Barely but it says up too 2.0liter
I think OEM its made for a 660cc kei car.
It's really not at higher RPM. Best for 1.3 and under.
Groove the throttle body and head(does that engine use "squish" areas?).
you can use 75w90 instead of 85w90. they don't sell 85w90 in american auto shops.
Also thanks for making a video on this thing, I'm tempted to stick one on my yaris since they're only 200 bucks or so.
Sounds good. Just hate the sound when whining down. Its too loud. Or does it sound good irl?
Nice
I just got one in the mail I'm putting it with a turbo on my race bike wish me luck
Heck yea
So is it possible to double, triple or even quadruple stack these suckers?
Is the supercharger still working and how many miles have you put on it?
Cheers
I been looking for a Sprintex Supercharger for my custom build but they no longer make it for the Honda Fit GD 1st gen. It's a 2007 in a custom trike. Unfortunately I bought the frame with the engine. Could this Aisin amr300 or 500 work for my motor? Is it just get the compressor supercharger to line up with belt and intake tube connections to throttle body and tune it? I have a hondata tuner. Just wondering if you had to change any injectors or anything else.
Did this add any power at all? Considering one or two for my tiburon 2.0 or else my Mazda 323F 1.5 lol
Cara que vídeo incrível , isso me inspira a fazer um projeto aqui

So is it worth it? Can you still use regular gas?
Im trying to figure out what headers and turbo or supercharger to put on my 2001 automatic crv. Something thats cheap and easy just to give me more power going up hills.
I would definitely go with a turbo in your car. That is the cheapest route.
i want to know please, it says limited 150hp how it works, i have a bmw 2.8L 190hp can i put it on ? Is going to increase my hp or is going to blow out?
You used the OEM fuel pump? And many psi in the fuel regulator?
Hi, A question , how to know the pressure in bar of supercharger? , in your case with honda how many bar has the car? Thanks
No intercooler? Is it cold where you live or something?
That's good cuz bottom end is where it needs it the most there's another guy that put one of these on and was running all the data and he was seeing 60 horsepower and 66 ft lb of torque gain and he didn't do anything to the ECU or with his injectors he was running lean. I would love to see what this thing can really do when everything is done correctly. Cheapest horsepower I've ever seen $215 with a blow off valve and some charge pipe! I mean for the price that's pretty damn respectable nice job on the Del Sol
Wonder how well the AMR500 hooked up to a D16 or D15 engine 🤔
I'm thinking your outpacing the 500 it can only deliver 500cc of air per spin from my understanding on a 1800cc engin it would need to spin at least 4:1 to just deliver the aire its neededing also t he air charge is probaly crazy hot causeing the engin to compinsate toss a cheep intercooler in line and see if that helps.
I wonder if this would help my turbo spool faster on my Miata 🤔
It could help a turbo spin faster, but the issue would be that it couldn’t keep up with the amount of air the turbo would pull after and the engine would bog. The del sol’s engine for start to bog down at high RPM. We didn’t realize that until after the AMR500 was removed and the car felt faster top end.
Where did you get the pulley from I'm putting one of these in a 93 subaru justy
Did you installed cooler? Or just put direct pipe
Because so many have asked. The car has a Chipped ECU from Jason Waters Tuning and is already tuned to handle boost up to the stock MAP sensor pressure of 10psi.

alex marti yea, I thought about that too
hello, I wanted to know how many HP this volumetric compressor gives ???
Siiiccckkk my geo metro 1.0 i3 on propane is about to be turbo charged AND supercharged! Gonna run it in place of the air conditioner. BTW found it on AliExpress for only $161! It already sounds like a swarm of angry bees... its gonna sound straight demonic on a little 1.0 with a turbo
Whats the max whp you think you can get out of it?
just found out about these SC's i think i wanna try putting one on my H22A accord.
It's too tiny to be able to keep up with a H22, I've looked into it for mine. You'd have to run it at beyond 2:1 just to move the same air that a H22 can stock. H22 runs up to around 7600rpm so that's already basically maxing the chargers rpm out. making little boost and resulting in less power than stock, as your supercharger is basically just acting as an air heater and restriction for the intake.
Have you thought about running 2x amr500's in parallel on it to see if the top end power improves?
Can you do that?
@@adhiekayudhistira5728 yeah theres a civic im my car club running the twin s/c the smaller amr ones tho
I was thinking that same thing I just left a message for these guys I have a V6 4.0 Tacoma and I want to run two of these bad boys
I know this is only good for up too a 2.0L you know if it’d work properly for a 3.0?
Have you considered an air/air or air/water intercooler?
do you really feel a difference on the power?
Would this be worth it on a 2021 1.8 Yamaha FX HO jet ski?
Will this work for a 91miata 1.6? With stock internals?
how much hp do you think you gained ? I want to fit it on my polo 6n 1.4
Bro you sound a lot like Sam Elliot. Awesome
I want to do this to my 1.6 TU5JP4 engine. Want about 20 HP more. The only thing i know nothing about it how to fine tune the air fuel ratio
ive watched this video like 5 times now. really like the turn buckle idea! im most likely gonna copy your setup on my 92 accord. thanks- david
edit: where did you find the smaller pulley?
Hey bud, which engine do you have? This setup really didn’t make any boost on this 1.8. Check out the rest of the videos on this series. But we got the smaller pulley off of eBay, under “AMR500 pulley.”
I own an accord the displacement is too high
How much HP did it make?
Got me curious
