Honda makes a plug replacement kit for the GL1200 that addresses the stator/reg rec plug and it fits all hondas with the same (shadows) plug.

Does it feel like it makinh power ? Seems to pull like my stocker

I promise you that you need to replace the fuel tank as well plus the filter. All the crap in the tank is gonna seriously limit the life of those pumps.

What axel spacer did you use. I installed the one for the 07. But I am thinking I should have used the one for the 08+.

That long thin bolt you snapped is gonna bite you in the ass man. you wont have even pressure on the starter . You are going to tear it apart quickly. Best advice is "Get one and replace it ASAP".

Be careful when buying the adapter for your bug, I just realized the 1974 model is a split year, that means you can have a different size spline on your bug. I do have a 1974 and the adapter that fits is an adapter from 1960-1974.5. I mistakenly bought the 1974.5 and up adapter and didn't fit. Jbugs page has a page where they explain how to find the right adapter for your car.
