    Oh MAN that sounds good! I did the midmuffler delete with H-pipe on my 2019 r/t! I had to ADD the H-pipe because it was WAY too loud on a cold start at 4:30am when I'm leaving for work! 🤣

    Hard to improve on the RT Tow N' Go exhaust system sound-wise, but your mod does sound nice; at least it didn't get worse like some do...

      That was my biggest fear for sure!!! I was in love with the stock Tow N Go exhaust but saw some other owners mod it so I wasn't too afraid.

    I know you eventually changed to an H-pipe, but this car sounds surprisingly mean with a generic X-pipe (as opposed to a more expensive mandrel-bent one) and the stock resonators still in place...!
    This was educational. Thank you.

    • @MidwestMotor
      @MidwestMotor  Před rokem

      Thanks but I'm still not satisfied - at higher RPMs it has that clap sound, not really rasp, but clappy if that makes sense. I don't know... I now have the H with Flowmaster FX which made it more mellow and not so much "noise," those bullets had. But I might try Carven TR or maybe back to the Dynomax but the longer version so it's not so loud - but the Dynomax is deep tone. There's just a million combinations of things you can do - just like you mentioned, the stock rears are still on, I can change those or delete them..... crap! So many choices!

      @@MidwestMotor have you looked at the Corsa Pro Series "Packed" resonators...? They come in 5", 10" and 15" lengths.
      If you type in Corsa Pro Resonater there is a video with a red Mustang and the 5" resonators. What's nice about the 5" ones is that it takes away the rasp without cutting the volume too much or coloring the sound.
      There is also the Vibrant 1769 that is built allot like the Dynomax 24250s (same length. Vut bigger sound chamber) you have on there, but the sound chamber is a little longer and it gives a slightly softer sound than the Dynomax 24250s you used in this video

    Steeda themselves have a really good dyno video. But I agree that the H gives deeper and less rasp. I know on my coyote my MBRP X pipe is super deep though. Really threw me off lol.

    You have better performance on the X and tone is better. I even run it on my old muscle car

    • @MidwestMotor
      @MidwestMotor  Před 2 lety +1

      The X gives more Raspy noise like a European sports car - the H pipe give a deeper growl only proper for American V8 muscle. Also, the X will give you more HP but on the higher RPM, the H will give you more low end torque which is for towing and drag racing. So H is the way to go.

    My mans is so hype about his 5,500 add on “tow n go” that literally adds no extra hp or tq from a reg 5.7 . If you aren’t towing anything what was the point of even buying it ?

    • @keithhayes6339
      @keithhayes6339 Před 2 lety

    • @Matt-uy4zk

      Wider wheels, fender flares, exhaust, adjustable Dampers for suspension, Brembo brakes, performance pages with track mode, flat bottom steering wheel, Black rear diffuser with nicer looking exhaust tips, etc. ~$5,000 sounds like a lot until you realize your there with a sunroof, Premium audio group, tumble seats, Premium leather group. Those options don’t add any hp or torque either. It’s all about what you consider essential in a car and what options you want. Who the hell wants a barebones model anyways?

    • @MidwestMotor
      @MidwestMotor  Před 2 lety +3

      DUDE! The Tow N Go package makes this car 95% SRT with ALL the same suspension, brakes, exhaust, exterior fender flares, rear valence, steering wheel, 4 drive modes like Track/Sport/Snow/Tow, and so much more! I'm going to throw a new Whipple 3.0 Supercharger on mine which will give it about 595 HP and I'll still spend LESS than if I bought a new SRT 392 plus I'll have about 125 more HP!
