@@boostedmotorsports2 He's not wrong. The manual for both Sea Doo and Scarab jet boats suggests placing a cooler with ice and beverages in the passenger seat when the boat is occupied by a single user lol.

I forget the exact issue I had on my 98 XPL but if I recall correctly it would die then same 4 beeps. I think I changed the DESS post and all was well afterward. Regardless, I think you can look up the "beep code" in the manual. Should help you troubleshoot and hope its an easy fix. Regardless, boat looks great and water looks awesome!
Hey man. I'm in Quebec Canada the home of bombardier. Here on the eastern coast of Quebec on the north Atlantic we saw a ton of guys buy these boats a decade or so ago. Ever single guy who bought one around here sold it within two years. Major electrical flaws but mostly these boats are not suited for salt water and especially not choppy salt water.....constant impeller issues to go with compacted disks in your back. Fun little calm lake boat but if you plan on using it in salt water regularly you are in for a world of frustration and pain.

I know what you mean about when 1 person in it like yourself while driving it cause it to lean i see here at my place on the wayer all them style of boats do that with one person!! Think they would have fabricated so it wouldnt have done that when they engineered it lol.. maybe put some kinda weight in the seat to the left if you to counter balance it out lol
I am planning to get a CanDoo Pro for my seadoo’s. I have two skis and a boat. I want to be able to fully understand everything on them without having to take it elsewhere. I’m doing all the mechanic work too. If you buy more Seadoos, you might consider the same at some point.
Check your plugs...the engine cuts out on a certain rev, your plugs might be fauled up. 👍 My Seadoo speedster is a 215 horsepower Rotax Supercharged. Very fast on water.

Yeah its weird since it isn't throwing a check engine light I'm hoping doing a tuneup on it fixes the issue. I have fuel filters, injector cleaning tool, and spark plugs on the way
@@boostedmotorsports2 I think as of 2020, you are breaking the law if you don't wear the tether when riding personal watercraft or any boat under 26 ft long without an enclosed cabin. I have the same boat, lots of fun!
Looks like fun but you really need to wear the safety tether. It’s in case you fall out the boat will just keep going if you don’t have it hooked up to you.
What engine do you have in my seadoo boat I have a 2.5 mercury and it has 2 fuel pumps a low pressure and a high pressure. Low pressure is for idle and low speed. If the high pressure goes when you hit the throttle it dies.
Do you know what the three switches to the right of the steering wheel do? I just bought one and it didn’t come with a manual. Also any ideas on where to pick up a manual or PDF?
The concept of these boats was cool but from what I've seen they don't perform or handle that well, this kind of confirms that for me. I guess that's why SeaDoo quit making them, yours looks very nice though, hopefully you will get the kinks worked out and be able to enjoy it more
A big fish will think that thing is dinner. A great white might think it's something to mate with. I'd never get in the ocean on one of those things. Not cuz of the fish, but more because of waves. One big one and it's a swamped boat. Might be a candidate for the brawny deep.
No biggie. You can swamp them completely and they'll still run. There's a video on youtube of 3 guys taking it down whitewater. They end up waist deep in water and the thing still keeps chugging.
I ordered the filters for the fuel pump and going to clean the fuel injectors, change the plugs and oil and hopefully she will be back in order! Probably find out this weekend
Just between you and me, there's a reason people don't own sea doo boats for long periods of time. They'll always need up on you. Even if you fixed everything.

Did you have to do anything to get the fuel gauge working ?
I have the same boat and I highly recommend running the blower fan at all times to prevent the motor from suffocating.

Looks like your missing the ladder. Impossible to find. But you adapt OEM 292800068 from 2012 speedster. Similar bolt pattern, simple mod to adapt.

Your rpm’s are running real high for being half throttle. Engine is running hard.
