- Lots of work on this one over the last few months. Rebuilt jet pumps, compression tested engines, repair electrical issues, oxidation removal. Finally got it on the water and it ran great albeit an absolute gas pig!

The Master of knowledge!
I don’t know about that, especially with boats but thank you.
Good job fixing that up. Looks like a lot of fun!
Thank you. I think it will be
Great video!!! Looks like lots of fun.
Thank you. It will be.
Looks great, shocking what a little hard work can accomplish.
Thank you
Im more of a dirtbike guy but that was a fun watch for something different, thanks for sharing!
Yeah, me too. Thanks for watching.
Great job on that machine. Been thinking of adding something like this to my collection.
Did not know about the wear sleeves in the propulsion unit! Thanks
Very common in these boats but super easy to do yourself. Thank you
Had one from new out of the London boat show year's ago! Loved every minute of it. Used on the see off of the Isle of Wight out of Bembridge harbour. Travelled across the Solent to the main land many times. Hope you have as much fun as I did 🙏 Forget to say 360 spins were my speciality 😊
We are absolutely enjoying it although it has some starting and acceleration off of idle issues. Time to go through the carbs.
@restoroosterohv I ended up working at the Isle of Wight Seadoo dealer for 6 years and yes, carburettors were always a bit of a problem, especially as they were used in the sea. Good luck for the future 🙏
@bazzer621 thank you
The 717 is the best non rave valve motor seado ever made. They are nearly indestructible!
That’s good news. This boat already has one new engine, so something must’ve happened but I hope it lasts a long time for me or at least this summer
@@restoroosterohv just make sure you change out the oil lines. Usually it’s the lines that break not the oil pump itself. And also for future reference check out Osd marine. They have tons of parts
@ToddleyProductions thanks, good tip
Interesting video I learned a few things 👍🏻
Thank you
I can hear the excitement in your voice 😂 but seriously great video bro!
Haha thank you.
Nice man.
Thank you
It’s funny you posted this. I was looking at the same boat a week ago, it was in great condition. The guy who had only took it out 2 times, he said it was to rough on the water and he preferred his pontoon boat. He was selling it for $1500. Wish I would have bought it now
Wow, that would have been a great price.
Great video Resto!! Been running through all of your videos, whether it’s relatable to what I’m working on or not I’m watching them all! Actually have 2 of these similar boats both broke down, trying to piece 2 into 1.
Thank you, I appreciate your feedback and support. Good luck with your projects!
Super interesting! Thanks for showing us something different! Always a pleasure watching your videos!
Thank you. Always a pleasure reading your comments.
The bottle part is so funny :) 53min have fun this summer !
Haha thanks. It was sort of frustrating at the time.
Try CLR you can buy it anywhere it works good
I have some under the sink but haven’t yet had a chance to try it. I feel pretty confident it will work.
