Having the same issues on my 2017. Going to give this a shot. Looks easy enough. Local shop quoted me $4K to fix and also said he can’t get the part for months. Then said he doesn’t recommend I drive it until it comes in. He said he doubts any reputable mechanic would install a used ABS module. Then proceeded to quote me $10K for miscellaneous things I didn’t ask for. 😂

Well, to begin with this is salvage vehicle per your description the leather was like cardboard, you said everything about the leather. I used to work for a car wash and we used Lexol all the time no issues. I had leather couches that I kept clean and looking new with Lexol cleaner and conditioner.

Cavitation and pop off. The mid throttle issue is pop off pressure not sure if you got this resolved but recheck the pop off and you should be screaming again 🤙

Years ago, when there was a company that came out with a toilet size oil filter. It was installed on a Toyota Starlet. After 80k miles of heavy uses (children), the wife sold it. The new owner took it to a Toyota dealership and they cannot believe how clean the oil was and the engine longevity. Nothing to do with Toyota claimed quality but the toilet paper as a oil filter really did work.

So the problem with my car is stop entirely, oil psi light comes on and shuts off engine, I'm driving a 2005 Dodge Magnum though...

To fix the outside holes maybe use thickened epoxy in a syringe , then a boby filler spreader to make it flat. Later come back with matching 2k paint and just dab the color on the epoxy spots.

I'd check that the exhaust isn't plugged up on that fridge that might be why the thermal switch is tripping
