  • In this 14th Video from Classic Car ChitChat you will get to see in my opinion one of the most beautiful Corvette's ever made. Even President Biden has a '67 Corvette and would probably love to add this little beauty to his collection! The Corvette is really a "brand new" car in every aspect and truly one of the most incredible cars I have ever seen or had the pleasure of being a passenger in. Maybe one day if I am really good, Frank will let me sit behind the driver seat and take her for a little drive. I am actually quite smitten by this car and no matter how you look at it - this car is classic in every way.. much like Frank! (but don't tell him I said that!).
Frank has spent a lot of time (and money) restoring this car to what she looks like now. What makes me even happier is knowing that much of the restoration was done by a local Mississauga companies which I would like to acknowledge for doing their parts in keeping cars like these on the road. The two companies that Frank used were Auto-Tech for the majority of the work however the engine rebuild was completed by Beatty & Woods.
You can find them both using the links below:

    Video Intentions:
I hope my video’s make you smile. I do them in my spare time because I truly love cars. I understand too that my videos perhaps lack the polish calibre of great CZcamsrs like: Doug DeMuro, Scotty Kilmer, Supercar Blondie, and can’t even come close the quality & finish you get from the likes of Jeremy Clarkson and the boys at Top Gear.. I think they use a little fancier equipment than my little iPhone… LOL
    Mission Statement:
My Objective through creating these videos is to shine the spotlight on people who love their vehicles whether it be a car, motorcycle, or even a bicycle…. Bottom line is if it has wheels and you love it then let’s show that passion to the world!
    Equipment Used:
Camera - Just an iPhone SE (Nothing fancy - which proves anyone can use whatever you have handy to make a video… you don’t need really expensive equipment)
Gimbal - DJI OM4 - For that ultra-smooth cinematic look. (To be honest... still not quite sure how to use it but one day I will figure it out!)
Audio - Rode Wireless GO II (I gotta be honest… this is really the biggest investment that was made… I wish there was a cheaper option but after the first couple of videos I soon realized that audio quality is important and hopefully better than the onboard mic on the iPhone!

If you have read this far, then I thank you. As always, I truly appreciate your “thumbs-up”, and by leaving your comments it demonstrates to me that I managed to get you involved and hopefully made you smile. Most importantly when you subscribe to my channel then you are truly acknowledging my effort to help share with others like you my passion and love for “all things that have wheels” and honouring the people who take care of them.
    Thank You
    Kevin

The 63-67 Corvette coupes are the most beautiful cars ever produced IMO. Why they couldn't have made the run longer is beyond me.

Zone47, first of all thank you so very much for watching my videos and subscribing. I have made videos of many beautiful cars since I started my channel. Recent some one asked me which was my favourite car so far. I answered in 0.5 seconds.. Frank’s 67 Corvette! There is something that I still struggle to define as to why she is so beautiful. I am so happy that you too feel the same way about this beautiful car.

Really glad you featured this beautiful car... and Frank too...I saw this car the day Frank bought it. I can absolutely say it did not look like this when he bought it... this was a rough barn find. Great restoration, great owner, great interview

My most favourate corvette when I was growing up, I only have a chance to work on removing and repairing the radio back on the 70s , the most sexiest vet of all times

Steve.. absolutely.. of all the car videos I personally have done this one is the one that always takes my breath away. I can’t describe in words what about the car makes it so special but when you see her somehow you know this is perfection.

Lovely car! A small correction is that the '63-'67 Sting Ray was not designed by Harley Earl. Mr. Earl retired in 1959 as Vice-President of GM Design. His successor was Bill Mitchell, who was in charge of GM design through the '60's and '70's. There is a connection to Harley Earl in that he had his design team create a concept race car in 1959 incorporating design elements that were later used in the production Sting Ray cars debuting in 1963. The design is credited to Larry Shinoda, who created the original '59 Sting Ray Racer, based on sketches by then 19 year-old junior designer Peter Brock.

George, First of all thank you so very much for watching my videos and subscribing to my channel I truly appreciate it. My intention for the videos is to showcase the car and also allow the owner of the car (the caretaker as Jay Leno rightly says) the opportunity to share their story, love and passion for their car. The colour alone is so incredible and the attention to detail too. Every nut and bolt is perfect and aligned too. I think she too with the engine and drive train.. what more could you want. Stunning in every way.

Lyle, First of all thank you so very much for watching my videos and subscribing to my channel I truly appreciate it. My intention for the videos is to allow "ordinary" people who love cars an opportunity to speak about their car and why that car means so much to them. After all we are all the "caretakers"of our cars (as Jay Leno rightly says). I also appreciate your feedback on the 67 Vette. Thanks again for sharing.

65 Nassau Blue Convertible with white interior is beautiful. The 67 is just another car not exactly a pretty car but looks like a utilitarian vehicle to go fast. Not exactly pretty.

67 Stingray has exhaust pipes on the side, that's the classic look; this one just boring, color and everything! ..I give that vett a total 👎
