Witbank grapples with water issues

Emalahleni local municipality spokesperson Lebohang Mofokeng says they are aware of the water issues and are currently busy with maintenance. Residents have found themselves having to collect water from pipes situated alongside sewage lines in the area. Newzroom Afrika's Katleho Sekhotho has more.

My sister that lives there in. eMalahleni have gone weeks without water 💧 and it's not a national problem... It's the municipality unable to do maintenance on their infrastructure that's collapsing, so spare me the lies on it's a national problem. The eMalahleni Mayor keeps buying new cars instead of actually fixing the problems.
