I lived in Scotland for close to 5 years. When I had my daughter (4th child) they kept me in hospital for 8 days. Then they provided a home nurse who came every day for a month. I think that Great Britain just has a completely different view of healing with Social Health and especially for a Royal. I can't believe this is such a thing.
My 17 month old loves the fun headband! She smiled and said "hat!" 😂

I casually follow the royal family and have seen a lot of talk about Princess Catherine. The palace was very clear before she went into the hospital that she wouldn’t return to public life until Easter. Abdominal surgery can be a difficult recovery. I think it’s odd how much people are making out of this. How do we know no one visited her in the hospital? Just because no paps got pictures? I think people are making a mountain out of a molehill. She may be a public figure but that doesn’t mean we’re owed every detail of her life. I think we’re just so used to celebrities over sharing.

She is the same type of supportive, generous, thoughtful mom I had while raising my kids. We lost her in 2022 but hearing stories like yours helps me keep her memory close. 💛😘
I'm so sorry for your loss but I'm glad you have so many wonderful memories of your mom. I lost my mom suddenly in 2011 and she was such a fantastic mom. We were blessed to have had them.

Yes there is a Sephora in khols. I went last weekend for first time. It may not be in all khols but it’s in mine. I was so happy. Although I have a regular Sephora but I hate shuffling through the mall through the crowd. I have wondered about the royal Kate myself. Maybe she had a tummy tuck or something from having 3 kids? Who knows. They have put a bit of mystery to it. Although everyone deserves to have some privacy of their life. She can divulge her issues when she is ready. I am old enough to remember when Dianna married the prince when I was in high school and followed her saga till her death. I want to try the Huda stick. I have her liquid foundation. Now I want your mom’s Mac and cheese. Such a sweet gesture. Happy spring break. Thanks for sharing as always. ❤

Kohl’s snagged the Sephora partnership from JC Penny and most, if not all, stores have a Sephora with select brands and products in them.
I always wanted that palette when it first came out. It’s still pretty but as I look at it now, it reminds me of Modern Renaissance, one of my favorites to this day. A bit warmer than MR, but a very similar color story.

I’m so very touched hearing your little sweet stories about your parents and their involvement in your life. Unfortunately, my husband and I lived in another state from both sets of our parents so our children missed out on us being able to have our kids get to be around our respective parents while they were growing up. Now that I’m a grandparent, my husband and I both love every opportunity to see our 5 grandchildren who live near us. We have 2 grandchildren who actually live near my father and other family in another state so we miss seeing those grandchildren. We truly LOVE every time we get to see our grandchildren….🌺🌈♥️💋😁👍…

I adore the Givenchy Prisme Libre loose setting powders! They’re so nice and not overly matte/drying on my 41 y.o. skin! I own it in the pastel shade & shade 3, which is pink-ish. Totally worth the $$ for me.

We were told ‘in advance’ that Princess Catherine would be going in for abdominal surgery. She was to be in hospital for 2 weeks and not to expect to see her before Easter. It would be a longish period of recovery. I don’t know what all the hoo ha has been about. I also love this look and, also love shop my stash. ❤
Agree! If you have had open abdominal surgery, and I have, the recovery is long. Love the video, Emily, and wish I could eat the salad and mac and cheese with you!
They could say anything though. I also find it incredibly odd that none of her family visited her in the hospital. Plus the photoshopped picture they released. People are gonna have questions.

Had to pause the vid when you talked about springtime. Ugh, it’s my least favorite. I can live in the month of Oct forever. I completely struggle w spring makeup colors, clothing, and naturally horrid allergy season. Granted I like the warmer weather that comes in, but spring makeup colors is just not my thing.
Getting the Givenchy powder in your right shade is important for the best result! Now they sell the minis, I would recommend satin blanc or voile rose for your complexion🥰🥰 ps: we need to know what's in the 7 layers salad😋😋

Personally (a nurse and mom of 2) ... I think she had an abdominal surgery that may have resulted in an ostomy. Adhesions from multiple children / maybe Chrons? She may not be seen in public until the planned reversal is completed. The Royals may feel that talking about her poo is proper. I also think she may have or is receiving steroids, which would cause her fingers to be temporarily swollen ... hints her not wearing her ring in the photo ... I think her amateur photo manipulation was her using lightroom / filters like the rest of us... the palace did say she wouldn't return to the public eye until after Easter, so I'm not really sure why everyone is freaking out. But in my "spent too much time on Instagram," it is my far-reaching guess.

I know you love the full makeup look, and you always look gorgeous when you've completed all the steps. But I just want to say that you're so cute with little or no makeup.
I’ve felt bad for the Princess of Wales over the intense amount of scrutiny surrounding her surgery. I’m not a medical expert, but I’ve theorized it could have been anything from a hysterectomy to perhaps removal of part of her colon resulting in a colostomy bag. It could be any number of things that require a long recovery period, with perhaps setbacks, that have put her in a situation where she isn’t physically or mentally ready to face the public. I think the TikTok creators making all these conspiracy theory videos are fanning the flames for views.
