Since she's a cinephile and has a cinema aesthetic, even her scissors doing sound like "cut" and "action" in movie, I think that her wish was 'to always remember the moments spent with her friends - Holy Quintet'. I'm thinking of this because: - At the beginning of the opening there was a picture showing her with other girls (even Nagisa was there somehow) - I'm supporting the theory of her witch form being Itzli and since she's a witch of oblivion then her wish is likely to do with rememberance - Her powers to remember time loops and being unaffected by Homura's time stop. Even her look when she's using her innate magic of "Optical Camouflage" is like she's a memory or recording.

A spoiler for the event: After a flashback, she theorizes it has something to do with wishing her mother to be happy without knowing how she'd die. Mabayu's mom was a fortune teller, but lost her sanity after seeing how she'd die. Mabayu doesn't remember contracting, but she does remember her mom's final days as happy and calm, as if she had forgotten what she'd seen. From there, it's possible Mabayu erased her mother's memories, but due to never showing what her wish was, it's unclear how she formulated it and how it resulted in her forgetting the original timeline alongside her contract. Either way, on top of being able to cut memories like films in movie reels, Mabayu also somehow obtained the ability to see the future of those she looks face to face with.

My theory: - Mabayu possibly cut her memories about her mother before her meeting with her aunt. - The scene 0 possibly end with her cutting everybody memories about her because the future she sees to defeat Walpurgis probably achievable if she doesn't exist to cause "butterfly effect" (something that Homura mentioned in Homura scene 0 character story).

There is a part of the lyrics that goes: "With you, one last time. I wanted to watch this film that was interrupted." The last scene in film 7, Mabayu heard a voice, her own voice that said she can make others' wish come true, but she can't be friends with them, and she will forever be alone. That two things seems like it wants to imply that the film we're watching right now is already happening. What I meant is that we're not watching Mabayu's journey but instead we're watching these films WITH Mabayu. So there is a possibility that, like you said, Mabayu is already a witch.
Also, i think because of her wish of erasing her memories about her own mother, this is actually considered a curse rather than a wish so thats why she got the same element as coordinators. Which is also probably why mabayu cant do much at fighting other than future sight.
