    I put a Saddlemen King 2-Up seat on my '03 Dyna earlier this year and after about a thousand miles on it, I love it. It feels great, the quality is incredible and, while a bit pricey, it's worth every cent of the $650 (give or take) I paid for it. I can't imagine anything better, but that's me.

    I got the heated Mustang super deluxe touring with back rest and tourpak back rest for my 2021 CVO Limited. Much better than the stock seat which already was tearing. I chose it because the harness plugged into the stock harness and the tourpak back rest came complete for mounting. The Saddleman would send the cover you had to have place over your existing backrest frame

    I have owned both Mustang and Corbin through the years. I think that the Mustangs are the way to go. I currently have their touring saddle, passenger backrest and saddlebag lid covers on my 2017 Ultra Limited. The Corbin was good, but being real leather, it required a lot of additional care to maintain its good looks. I actually took it off the bike for routine washings. The Mustangs just need a good wipe down, and occasionally something like Armor All to keep the vinyl looking new. And because it is marine grade vinyl, I leave it on the bike for washing.

I was so glad I bought that because I use to stop every 50 miles and take a 20-minute break. My previous trips would take 10-12 hrs to go 300 miles. Now I can do that in 5hrs.

    Saddlemen seats...are ok. I bought one for my Fatboy and it was a huge improvement from the old beat up stock seat, but leaves me desiring more. I borrowed my buddies Mustang seat and a Corbin seat a while back and wished I would have bought one of them instead. Seems like a lot of people pushing the Saddlemen seats are getting some kick back from the company, not a ton of folks out there recommending them who purchased them with their own cash.

    Appreciate the review. Looking for a seat for my 2023 CVO RG. Looked at Saddlemen Road Sofa CF but, states "Will NOT work with Harley saddlebag guard bars" Did they have to do anything special to your seat to get it to fit over the guards? If not perhaps they are referring to the CVO ST style saddlebag guards.

    • @NVET92
      @NVET92 Před měsícem +2

      I have the Saddlemen Road Sofa CF seat on my 24RG, and had it on my 23 CVO SG as well. If you have the traditional stock saddle bag guards (large curved type), this seat will impinge against the upper attachment points of the guards. But, the seat will fit, you just have to apply slight downward pressure to attach the seat to the rear fender. This causes the sides of the seat to bulge slightly, another words "not a perfect fit". Both my bikes have the large curved saddle bag guards, but I still was able to secure the CF Road Sofa to both bikes. The bulging is noticeable, but not excessive. And the seat feels great.

      @@NVET92 Thanks for the detailed response! Much appreciated! I had a Harley Hammock on my 19 CVO Ultra and had no issue but, the stock seat on this 23 CVO RG feels like sitting on a board (to me anyway). I'm also looking at Mustang as I'm a little skeptical of seats (like Saddlemen) that require a break-in period. Thanks again!

    Gel is comfortable. My problem with it is it is a heat sponge. I put some inserts in a seat long ago and the bike would sit outside work during the day. When I rode home, my nuts got broiled every day. All seats will get hot sitting in the sun, but that gel held the heat and dispensed it over my hour ride home everyday.

    I’m sorry but I can’t really take stock in any reviews anymore. Saddleman has flooded the CZcams market and given you all free seats so there is no longer any bias reviews. You see people selling their saddleman seats everywhere cause they’re bricks. If it’s sponsored it’s garbage. You content creators are ruining CZcams cause you’re just getting free stuff for your “builds”. It’s a scam.

      Ya - they hand people their trash rock hard seats and unfortunately it deceives so many people. I truly would take a stock seat over my trash road sofa.

      I personally bought my saddleman myself. Yes, it feels like a piece concrete. I can say I hated. I did give it a true test. It turns into a comfortable long-distance ride. SAD PEOPLE HAVE NO CONCEPT OF PATIENCES, ONLY CONSTANT CRY BABIES.

      @@harleyhawk7959 I’ve had mine for 10k miles. Sucks just as much now as it did when it was new. Saddleman Road sofa is a scam with the supposed break-in period. They know most people will take years to ride that far and by then there’s no way they are returning it because they can’t.

    I've watched quite a few videos on motorcycle seats and Saddlemen is what pretty much everyone is very happy with. Now I ride a Victory Cross Country Tour so unfortunately Saddlemen wasn't an option for me. I purchased the Ultimate Seat with heat, it's a decent seat but comfort wise in my opinion it's a bit too soft. I have a Mustang Seat on my Honda VTX and I prefer the Mustang Seat over The Ultimate Seat but Mustang does not offer a heated seat which for my Wife, is a must have. 🫤I would not hesitate to purchase a Saddlemen Seat if I were to get a different bike. I've never sat on one but all the reviews are the same about the Saddlemen Road Sofa, super comfortable! They definitely look amazing I know that! 😁 Great Video

    OK....I also have a '24 RG. The Saddlemen site says the seats don't work with Saddlebag guards. I see that you have the same guards as I do - did you have to do any modifications to make the seat work?
