I attended hospital throughout all of 2020, was like walking into a ghost town with groups of nurses sat chatting doing fck all, yet on the news they were portrayed as being run ragged. It was the con of the century and I never believed it from the start.
NHS must spend money you know ? How else can they hire diversity officials to tell white people are evil ?
Did you ever think that maybe your hospital wasn't representative of every hospital? Every hospital had their services completely wiped in preparation for mass A+E admissions but not every region was effected like that in the first wave. THERE WAS NO WAY OF KNOWING whether or not that would be the case. That's why some hospitals were quiet. It was in preparation for a storm. Meanwhile, other hospitals actually were hit by a storm and were like this
Outpatients and entrances etc were quiet due to only urgent patients being seen. In my hospital all the icu and covid areas were away from public access mainly to help prevent the spread. As someone who worked in a large uk hospital during the pandemic and lost 2 relatives I can promise that there is a lot of truth in this series(I really really wish it was a haux believe me) to get to my dad in his last days I had to go through several empty areas to get to the covid wards. I had to wear full body suits and gloves to be in the same room as him. No skin contact no real hugs. He could hardly breathe or speak, covid destroyed his lungs to the point they couldn't take in oxygen. I saw his chest x rays. You're incredibly lucky you didn't have to go through any of this. Wish I had the liberty to live in your world

So i watched the first episode written by a hospice doctor. This is a series of lies with dramatic music in the background. The only hands on i saw from this supposed acute medicine Consultant was certifying a body in the back of an ambulance. She was almost in tears saying sorry to the ambulance crew. When you get to that stage of the game you have seen 1000's of deaths and you toughen up or you are simply not fit for purpose. There is a job to do so do it. We even saw the hospital running out of oxygen - come on they emptied out the hospitals - they were half empty so no they weren't running out of oxygen. It was a propaganda exercise to gaslight the British public. Shameful and pathetic. What about the 100 000+ excess deaths and counting that our so-called leaders refuse to discuss?

@@daddymulk i can assure you I did not dance. It was a difficult time with relatives, family members, colleagues and patients dying. Please do not generalise all of us.
As someone who worked in the nhs and lost 2 relatives to covid i can promise there is a lot of truth in this series. It was incredibly traumatic watching it but also healing as i was able to see it again outside of the moment.
The reasons why hospitals seemed empty is because entrances and outpatient areas were closed the covid wards where there was no public access were full. There was no public access to prevent further spread.

@Wind-your-beak-in I know a number of people who died from it. A father and son and a husband and wife within 2 weeks of each other. I do have my doubts about the vaccination. Personally I lived my life as normal as possible at that time. I never contracted it but many family members and friends did. How do you explain the thousands who died? The government didn't handle things well for sure, that much I know.

Those of you who are saying this was not real are living in a dream world. I worked during peak covid and I didn't manage to do any dance routines. I saw it all from care homes wearing bin bags as there was no PPE to being redeployed to medical covid wards. I was stuck on covid level 2 itu as the only doctor for 12 hours not being able to pee or drink for 6 hours at a time because I was in full PPE only getting a break when my resp consultant came in to do the round with me . Maybe the nurses doing the dance routines you're all referring to were in the non covid section of the hospital or non covid ED because 90% of the hospital was full of covid patients. I worked in one of the hardest hit hospitals in Essex. We turned most of the surgical theatres into extra ITU because we had so many patients. The oxygen alarms were going off constantly because we were running low on oxygen. What I'm seeing in the trailer is very accurate and it brings back nightmares of how horrible that whole period was for me and my colleagues but most of all horrible for the patients we were treating. Most of us have some form of PTSD after seeing people suffocating and trying everything you can to save them but they are dying in front of your eyes. I remember the terror in their eyes but there is nothing you can do but hold their hand because you have tried every treatment but nothing works.

To those who have already said, to those who may comment about the dancing. One, they weren’t all nurses, two, nhs workers are given breaks or have time between a day shift finishing and a night shift starting. Three and most importantly, when you’re faced with sick, dying patients day in day out, a bit of light relief in what ever form that comes in is very welcome. These people giving so much hate towards this series need to Stfu. This is the truest series I and my parents have ever seen of what really goes on in the health service. These ignorant ppl on social media platforms have no idea what fucking happened while they were at home on their lazy arses. People like my parents worked themselves to death not knowing wether they were gonna live or die the next day to save lives. Remember people these nurses saved your parents,your uncle, your grandma or whoever. Nurses doing tik tok dances during covid was a way to spread positivity in the health service but hateful ppl can’t accept that and have to turn it into a bad thing. And plus just because perhaps those nurses were relaxed other nurses were not and instead bullied by managers and not being given the right uniform putting their lives on the line. This is what my parents and their colleagues have told me. I also feel terrible for those Medical students who were about early 20’s right out of university put on the frontline not knowing what they were getting into. And Boris johnson only giving them a 3% raise was absolutely insulting. This hatefulness has to stop there’s already enough trouble in the world. Also, some people may think just all nurses are bad because of their experiences in the nhs but don’t blame them blame the people who are higher like the government for not giving them enough rooms or beds. My dad has told me the healthcare service was always like this even before covid.
Millions of nurses have gained many mental health issues from covid such as ptsd,depression etc.

Whilst I agree in hindsight with nearly all of the opinions on covid, the vaccine dangers, and the obsene restrictions placed upon us, not to mention those poor unfortunate people who did not receive vital treatment for cancers etc we must remember that people did die. Some of these comments sicken me. I worked the front lines in intensive care and had no idea if the virus was deadly or not. It was an awful time. Hospitals weren't empty and I witnessed some true horrors. People dying and family not allowed with them. This drama is accurate. Whatever your opinion. People did die. People are so vile and hateful these days. Have respect.
